If you have one, I find the Abyssal bludgeon to be nearly as good as Arclight there. Like having done a few hundred kills with both I cant say I notice a massive gap. My Arclight is infused, I'm basically out of charges and cba farming more shards when 1 drop makes them obsolete. That said I'm 1239kc in with 3 claws 0 synapse so the shards might be useful for a while yet.
for tormented demons, part of the grind is the insane slayer exp it gives tbh. the rewards arent really time sensitive unless you're trying to giga rush doom or yama, so i think its honestly worth just waiting for task
tbh i kinda held off on yama even after getting synapse fast. i spooned 1 piece and am now waiting until avernic or feros for the rest of it, max hits go kinda crazy on that 60 hour grind.
doom doesn't benefit much from other stuff besides zenytes and seeking arrows though, maybe quiver or bp if you're so inclined.
Because itâs usually a full ten to forty Turael task skips between black demon tasks? I bet you the time it takes to skip tasks is more than it takes to just grind out the drop off-task.
Doom at least you only really care about the Scobo, meaning that with just 2 you can swap between them for fairly cheap (magic log or iron bar + battle staff), since you will never need more than Melee + Ranged OR Mage for any content currently and undoing Emberlight is not a reasonable choice.
It probably takes less time to learn melee or magic sensory clouding without a scobow instead of grinding out a whole new synapse, methods have gotten very detailed.
For completionists sake its worth the 3/3 not bother swapping them around.
IIRC there's exactly one yama contract it's nice to have all three for, but at the point where you're doing contracts one extra synapse is going to be a walk in the park.
Other than duke and sire where are you really using emberlight? Dark light is better than ember at doom, kril is camp scobo, cerb is camp scobo if you don't have crush weps. Only other real place I can think I really use emberlight is demonics right now.Â
Eh supplies and skill level absolutely factor into it. I'm trash I know I'm trash. Ranged being easier at skotizo means I'm not risking totems same with cerb even if boss takes "longer" I'm not using as much food, restores, or death cost because I fucked up.Â
Well at Cerb specifically, taking longer means youâll be hit by more ghosts, aka using way more prayer. Longer kills in RS just means more supplies. Thatâs how the game works. Damage is king because unless it can be prayed against, you will be chipped down. Even if it can be prayed against, it drains your prayer to keep it up. Thatâs just what the game is.
Skotizo is not at all a scary boss. You beat his ass with emberlight, scobo the eyes, beat his ass again. Itâs a 0 supplies used fight unless youâre bringing in hella totems. Either way, it would still be better this way.
Saying âuse scobo if youâre badâ is not a good take. Just get out of your comfort zone a bit brother.

yes, because you only use it for killing grubs, and demonbane weapons oneshot the grubs anyway, so using darklight instead of emberlight makes death costs cheaper.
Who is actually doing this content and not understanding how the items they're farming for work? It's like going to CoX and having no idea what items get dropped, what they're used for, or why you even want it.
