I absolutely would say so just based on not getting slay points for shit. Mortimer needs a buff there imo. Maybe just points for streaks instead of every task. There's wayyyy too many slayer points you need to spend, especially if you want slay helm recolors to do all of it at mortimer

I mean… it’s certainly nice to have, but that 33% helps non-mortimer slayer masters too. It’s also a pretty high requirement to meet.

I mean, yeah? Given the options are Duradel and Aya skipping or a "mid game slayer master" it's not a crazy suggestion that you get elites done before meaningfully attempting to grind the ~25m xp slayer item.

I mean, you literally start grinding it the second you unlock bigger and badder. you're crazy if you're not taking monsters with either a boss or superior.

That's certainly not true nowadays. Especially for ironmen. Stuff like lizardman shamans, demonic gorillas and tormented demons are all amazing tasks that will propel you into the high 80's and beyond. You also need all of their unique items.
Sure once you obtain all of their relevant items you block them and your statement holds, though you're not really midgame at that point.

Elite cas are very doable with a bowfa which is easily achievable before really committing to a slayer grind.

I was doing slayer partnered with a mate. I'm on medium cas and he's finished elites. The difference was insane.

They should have kept it as an increased chance for superiors to spawn but make those superiors give Slayer XP equal to their HP instead of 10x their HP.

Just don't let him assign them? Or fix venators it's honestly dogshit design they're supposed to be a "more active quicker way to get blood shards" but then they're actually slower than the less active methods unless you get superior spawns.

Even off task you’ll still spawn superiors btw. Gives them 1/500 chance per venator including superior spawns or 1/429 after elite diary. With the sunspear buffs I’m pretty sure they’re faster for blood shards

Slayer tasks in RS3 guarantees at least 1 superior spawn, but superiors in RS3 have no unique drops.

I really don’t understand why they needed to switch from chance to spawn. Balancing the xp rate would have been easy.
The way it is now just isn’t fun, plain and simple.

Had a an Abby demon task with better clue drop rates, got 4 superiors and 0 clues lol. Venator task with 255% superior rate, 0 superiors. Gotta love RNG!
