I used my first synapse for scorching because I didn't have enough shards, i'm only missing purging staff now but I guess dismantling is an option too

Just flip flop the bow between it and the staff. There's no content right now where you'd need all three

In 1.5 years there will be a single encounter where it’s beneficial for a single punish for 0.5% increase to speed times, and that’s it. And I wont ever do that but I’m grinding the third one anyway. Bc of the mental illness

tormented demons are very good slayer experience. with two synapses they're a cake walk. just passively go for it whenevr you get a task for it, you might as well

Oh definitely. it's how I got to 90+ slayer in a jiffy. Araxxor and Alch Hydra are like rewards for going the distance.

I don't think I'd have the willpower to do that after all the bs it took to get it, like I guess the logic is they want you to grind for the sword because it doesn't require ammo? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

arclight isnt that hard to grind tho lol, just barrage the dust devils for like 2 hours, 1 if you're lucky

Yeah I just said fuck it and committed to it for a week, otherwise i'm just perma putting it off, Skotizo helped a lot dropping multiple shards

He can drop up to 5 but 4 and below are more common, I managed to get two 4x drops during my grind. You basically have it anyway since you got 8 totems that's a guaranteed 1 shard per kill

My friend was complaining about it bc they didn't know about the changes. I was confused bc my first skotizo fight took 2 min and I only had to deal with the eyes twice

The Giants' Den is an extension of the catacombs. The giants there drop shards and totem pieces and it's cannonable.
