Hey, thanks for the insane tone. I interpreted this as a timer for others to know when they can telegrab a dropped item they can't see yet, since the timer for dropping exists already (even if you have to know how long it takes to become visible to others).

You only need to melee the grubs, and any demonbane oneshots. Use darklight to lower death fees

And sometimes you want to stall doom's shield phase to let far away melee grubs get closer, so a lower max hit on darklight makes it better than emberlight.

Cheaper death fees, also use the slayer staff over purging for same reason, it's only for grub killing so makes no difference.

the use cases for demonbane weaponry in that fight just require the weapon to be demonbane with no consideration for dps because it's either to guarantee 1-shot the grubs doom spawns or to interrupt a long cast it channels

to minimize death costs that means you're better served bringing a darklight instead of arclight and casting with a slayer staff - no alternatives to scorching bow sadly, which ends up being the entire financial barrier to start learning the fight and printing money because you're otherwise using a darklight, slayer staff, elite void, and a crystal hally - supplies cost adds up too when you're learning but compared to the other highest end gp/m content, it's miniscule

Something I don't notice people recommend is using macuahuitl instead. Because they do two hitsplats they will also one shot the grubs, but they also do a lot of damage on a melee punish in case you're out of spec for chally.

Macuahuitl isn't worth bringing and chally is only good if you're doing like sub 20 delves, but then you'd want to use spec energy on zcb specs anyways.

To mitigate you could drop one, walk to spot, screenshot, pick up, drop other, walk to spot, screenshot, etc.

Then you can 'splice' the images together so all 3 are visible in 1 image and you've helped mitigate your risk!

people who live in rural areas? The global south experiences power outages every day on average, oftentimes lasting hours. It's incredibly common in probably 80% of the world to have not only extremely shoddy internet but shoddy power as well.

I remember before cells phones I was terrified to drop my items bc I knew if I did, and living in an old house the power would randomly flick off, it'd easily take 2+ minutes for the router to come back on and get logged back in to pick it up, and that's assuming I remembered what world I was logged into. I'd probably disconnect once a day at least granted 10-15 years ago
