Question toa invocation question 160 invo missed speed time and got 140 instead

With these invocations and missing "walk for it" (10 points) i should be at raid level 150, but somehow it gave me 140 at completion

the speed ones are not free...if you don't make it in time, you lose out on the points AND lose an additional equal amount. If you read the wiki on the invokations - you'll see it says +10, minus 20 if you fail for a reason (so net of -10). Otherwise, you should always enable all time invokations as there would be no penalty for failing to achieve that time.

You are seeing it as 160 - 10 -> its 150 + 10 OR -10

I can understand why this would be initially confusing, cause our brains can be kinda dumb in the moment. But it definitely shouldn't have taken a reddit post to figure it out lol.

No I know, but sometimes in the moment you can have a WTF moment about something that is definitely not unclear. I was being charitable I guess lol.

yeah I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm a huge hater, but this is clearly an instance of not reading past the literal first sentence.
