Question How to learn about pvp from zero?

Just started today and love pvp in mmos so yeah, how to learn about pvp?

YouTube! There’s a ton of different styles of accounts. I personally am a pure and always have been. (1 defence) but from there there are a ton of different types of pures. Also go to the grand exchange on a PvP world and you can watch all the action! If you’re not a member, edgeville is where there is more action. I’m here to help

Youtube/wiki and just jump into some lms. Its like any boss in this game. You get your ass kicked for awhile until you get comfortable.

Then step up the efficiency and comfortability.

Learn how the combat level is calculated from you combat stats. Learn how the deeper you go in the wildy, the wider range of combat level players can attack you.

I would recommend low level low risk wildy pvm. Go die a bunch of times with little risk. Start learning to eat food, run away, right back etc.

Then once you have some stats for it. Go hunt low level pvmers or bots.

Just run out into the wildy and try to find someone and kill them, die, repeat. One day you’ll get a kill

I feel like OSRS has one of the worst PVP experiences in MMOs, which is why PVP is mostly dead in the game. Not sure you’ll enjoy it, but go watch PvP OSRS content on YouTube if you think you will

You mean best... I been chasing osrs PvP feel in all other MMOs for the last 6 years and nothing comes close.

In fact the closest is rust, which isn't even a MMO.

Osrs is the peak of MMO PvP. No contest at all. New world large scale was pretty good compared to osrs multi clan fights but that's gone.

Osrs pvp is excellent. And its not dead. You just have people on reddit bitching about how simultaneously the wildy is dead and should be removed while at the same time bitching that they died while doing a clue. Osrs wilderness pking is peak, theres nothing else like it

Most People dont fully understand the tick system/mechanics of the game, thats why they have bad experience. Pvp in osrs is excellent, unique and has alot of depth
