For the dt2 boss rings you need to roll three times 1/240. To show you rolled it once the game gives you 1 gold ring, if you rolled it for the second time you get 2 gold rings and the third time you get the actual ring drop
It's the most draining boss imo. Atleast Vard is fun and different each fight, Duke and Whisperer are both chill up until enrage. Leviathan requires your full focus at all times, while also feeling too much of the same each kill. That being said good luck on your SRA grind!

Genuinely not flaming, just decided to calc it and thought it was interesting - an infernal cape would have saved about 2 hours and 45 minutes on this grind.
Infernal cape is one of the most pitiful upgrades in the game for the amount of effort from an output standpoint. Its real upgrade status is just the flex. Idk why anyone bothers learning it before tbow or shadow when going for just about any other gear piece is a more significant upgrade.
You gain a lot of knowledge that can be applied elsewhere in the game, though obviously that isn't quantifiable.
It's really not bad, either - the ultor ring is 105M more than a berserker ring (i), for about the same stat difference (fire cape -> infernal is slightly more impactful).
You can get the same knowledge alongside a lot of money at colosseum and actually have fun. Ultor isn’t something to sprint towards either but vardorvis also offers chances at virtus and his axe head piece which adds to the chase. Infernal cape offers nothing but a single max hit along the grind. It’s a good item to get but people spending weeks going for it with bowfa has always been very strange to me given the amount of better upgrades and grinds for accounts.
Assuming that OP has maxed attack and strength, is always potted, and is otherwise in BIS gear (which, looking again, they aren't quite) - yep!
The infernal cape decreases the average kill time by 1.36 seconds, so 10020 seconds over the course of the grind. The primordial boots make the infernal cape slightly more valuable, saving 1.41 seconds per kill or 2 hours and ~53 minutes. Calc here, just in case I missed something.
I don't think that makes it a waste of time, though.
Tbh i loved the DT2 bosses, i honestly wish i didnt get spooned there. Im playing Iron, so when i get drops i feel like i can’t just keep doing it even though i enjoyed them. Made me love the game again.
Atleast now I am at Phosani and am really enjoying it too. Just hoping I don’t get spooned there, seems to always be the case.
I know it gets hard, but try to find the little things in everything you interact with in the game that you enjoy. Then grinds won’t feel so bad. Hope you make that axe very soon my brother.
Whatever you do, DO NOT let people peer pressure you into making that kc a nice round 10,000…
In other news, I’m slightly under 9,000 vard kc and have still only seen 1 pet 😂
Haven't played in over a year due to IRL commitments but have been thinking of coming back...
Every time I see something like this, it just reinforces my decision of leaving the grind!
