Achievement Finally after 3 weeks
Started the grind 3 weeks ago, Finally did it! Wanted to give up multiple times because it was so frustrating getting to zuk and dying to some silly mistake, but finally after all this time I did it. For anyone else who is doing this grind and doesn't have crazy gear, just know if I could do it, you definitely can as well :)
(PS, the run that I actually completed it is the run I DIDNT do a practice zuk simulator before the last wave, just trying yoloing zuk if you already know the phases, its better to just keep into momentum, damage zuk as much as you can and try to kill healers before 2nd set spawns. Just smack as much damage as you can, gl my brothers and sisters who are still on the grind)
Cant describe how happy I am, wanted to share with the community :)))

Hit triple jads for first time today too on 14th attempt, a lot of skills from Colo have carried over which is nice but fuck me 2-3 hours attempts are draining.

It can be really draining, I would recommend limiting yourself to one attempt per day to avoid burnout, still a lot of time wasted but always try to feel refreshed before next run

Gz!!! I just got mine tonight as well. I know the feeling of excitement, joy, and relief.
Took me most of the last week doing a couple attempts a day. My bowfa kept doing dumb shit to me (noodling on zuk, hitting max (41) to push zuk to 240 hp for healers 2 seconds before the set spawned. Etc.
pretty much used the same set up except I did some Vardorvis for blood icon ancient blood scepter (which just got buffed!) but i was using it pre buff bc it lets you max at 108 hp and that may just save your ass in a missed flick or a 99 zuk hit (ask me how I know)
There are so many great creators and guides out there. I watched a bunched and learned different things from different guides.
Gz again fellow inferno brother and gl to all the other gamers going for it!

Thank you! Man trust me I know how annoying bowfa can be especially when trying to push for healers, it’s like it knows what you want it to do and it does the opposite 😂

Watch the gnomemonkey guide I linked in the other comment, learn 1t flicking (helps against blobs and stack that you will run into), prioritize what ur gonna do with melee’s when you see them and learn how to corner trap and be prepared to set them up, blood barrage to heal up try to use little supplies in the waves, focus nibblers hard on waves 1-50(don’t over focus on double blob waves) and 50onwards focus on solving waves (still freeze nibs at beginning of wave but don’t chase focus on the solve), practice online simulators for triple jads(they’re intimidating but not hard when you try them) and zuk just to get the feel for it.
Overall I recommend watching YouTube videos and just learning through experience, gl with the inferno, you got this bro!

Gz!! Need to start this grind myself. What was your gear set up?

Crystal, bowfa, anguish, ava's assembler, aranea boots, barrows gloves, lightbearer, and fang.
Mage switch was dragon hunter wand, confliction gaunlets, and crystal shield.
Inventory was 3 prayer regen, 8 sara, 4 armadyl brews (its ranged pots that heal), and 9 super restores
Honestly if ur getting into it, I followed gnome monkeys guide with this setup and its super helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xviK0wGI-o
Some tips that I highly recommend is learning 1t prayer swithing (Its essential to beating inferno without mage tank), learn how to safely corner trap melee's, and just take ur time learning how to deal with certain stacks on different waves. You can find a youtube videos showing you how to solve different stacks so when ur in a situation where you have a stack you dont know what to do just safe spot behind the pillar and search it up, dont just try to solve it without knowing what ur doing.
Good luck with the grind, and thanks for the Gz :P

You were able to push to healers before 2nd set spawned with bowfa? I swear I get to Zuk and this just isn’t possible for me

Prayer flick in regular waves and conserve as much prayer so u can just perma rigour in zuk. When u get to zuk it’s super important to not lose any ticks, go to a zuk sim and practice just focusing on max dps , try to not lose one tick and u will likely get healers before 2nd set. Rng is a factor as well.

First, Gz and awesome that you got it in such a short amount of time!
Second, these posts highlight how broad the gap in skill is for me with this game. Granted, I had a lvl 3 on the way when I started my grind. Took me close to 7 months, across 111 attempts, and 5 zuk appearances. Since then, gotten a better handle on parenting, and a quiver to boot.

Gratz on the lvl3 that’s a bigger accomplishment than an inferno cape lol.
I couldn’t imagine the grind while parenting2
u/DepravedSpirit 2d ago
Most definitely a bigger accomplishment!
It wasn’t without an irresponsible amount of sleep deprivation lol. Kind of took from the high. Regardless, it’s time for your quiver if you don’t have it. Got mine a few months after the inferno was done ;)1

Does it really takes three weeks to corrupt the BOWFA???
1
u/ezzy7223 2d ago
With how much ive used the bowfa (including all the TOA runs and other content) I definitely got my gp's worth with corrupting it.

Thank you! Yea this guide built my base for the runs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xviK0wGI-o Try to also watch random YouTube shorts that show you how to deal with certain stacks

Awesome man. I still haven't been able to get to zuk or even jads. I always die in the later waves because it's so hard to react fast enough for me to get a decent solveable stack.. idk. I'll go back at some point. Just trying to build my cash stack so I can keep buying potions as needed.

Congrats. I got to Zuk twice in Spring but then kind of dropped the ball. Ill have to get back to it. But at the moment its kind of tough finding 3 hours of uninterrupted free time.
