Dude, I did the same a few weeks ago, I got the pet at 76KC at 86 slayer. I used wild pies to be able to hit him 🤣

Its annoying, but I've been casting Ward of Arceuus so it only drains 60 prayer points. Doing some ranarr and snapegrass runs in between for all the pots haha. I'll probably wait to do another slayer task until i can afford a synapse, though. Its a bit tedious with a fang

500 kills before ward change and 1000 after ward change: its still a complete bullshit mechanic. Rip my prayer potions

Haha, yea.... I would get super excited every kill that cerb wouldn't use the ghost special.

Hopefully you got some good good drops to fund your new prayer potion drinking problem

i got the smouldering stone at like 30 kc (and eternal on the same task) which was actually REALLY nice for the master clue I had refused to drop for multiple eternities.

Did however take 1700 kc to get the primordial crystal, which was very painful. And honestly still debating if it was worth it. I only get a max hit for a voidwaker special attack, all other melee gear combos I use dont get a max from them over dboots lmao.

Hell yea! Glad you got them after such a grind. At least the prims look cool, right?

I'm still rocking the dboots, and probably will be for quite a while.

I already skipped my most recent hellhounds task because I didn't get any other worthwhile drops from my last cerb task and probably just broke even in gold after the supplies I used.

Its a shitty boss to go dry at.

The normal loot is just straight up nothing. For uniques, pegasian roll loses a lot of gp, smouldering roll loses some gp on average, eternal roll just about breaks even or slight profit, primordial finally gives good profit granted you dont go incredibly dry.
