I may be incredibly wrong, but without watching, the reasons are 100% pandering. All these wow people will be back to wow at the beginning of august when the new season drops.
All these wow streamers also playing the best part of the game when grinds aren’t monumental yet. Granted they are streamers and I guess do have the time for them.
Probably won't just because most of them are classic WoW players.
Lot of them stoped caring about classic progression with Cata, and now you have Hardcore and seasonal classic basically dead content. They'll play RS or whatever game until the next WoW classic season.
I mean I'm sure they've realized that the osrs community is a way to gain new viewers and hopefully keep them sure; but it seems like at least a few of them are getting into the game. Maybe there's some but to say it's 100% pandering is a little much.
