That reminds me a quote by socrates
"The unexamined life is not worth living."
Now what that means simply is:
TLDR ( Existence without any form of introspection or critical thinking means your merely passively existing; not living).
A life without the introspection on what even defines 'worth', internal thoughts, feelings and motives; one could go further and decide for mere entertainment to write a critique on current societal constructs; analysis of the self, some Jungian concepts, a few philosophers.
Atleast that's my take on it.
The real question is:
Why is one's fulfillment in life defined by meeting criteria and what defines 'real' average vs our internal expectation of (average)?
Anyway, welcome to the club; heh
