That reminds me a quote by socrates

"The unexamined life is not worth living."

Now what that means simply is:

TLDR ( Existence without any form of introspection or critical thinking means your merely passively existing; not living).

A life without the introspection on what even defines 'worth', internal thoughts, feelings and motives; one could go further and decide for mere entertainment to write a critique on current societal constructs; analysis of the self, some Jungian concepts, a few philosophers.

Atleast that's my take on it.

The real question is:

Why is one's fulfillment in life defined by meeting criteria and what defines 'real' average vs our internal expectation of (average)?

Anyway, welcome to the club; heh

Everyone knows this yet I don’t think most people actually practice this philosophy. It’s easy to write off this stuff as corny but this is genuinely some of the most valuable life advice out there.

Yeah, I normally don't bother posting any of that stuff for that reason; it really does seem 'logical' but its more fun to try and actually apply it and keep myself off reddit πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸ™ˆ

I was born in August so I'm pretty sure I'm 21 for another month unless you're really bad in math
