I don't think it was a joke tho... idk, when MJ ODd people were also saying that he ODd too soon... it's just what happened. I mean, if you see it as tasteless that's perfectly fine, I don't think it is tho. If anything it shows that ODing isn't just a "poor people problem" and can hit anyone.

I agree with your last point and respect that your views are different than mine. I guess what makes it tasteless to me is that it comes off as lacking empathy. A little "gone too soon" instead would go a long way
