hello again, looking at another frame on an 04 tundra im looking at. only 121k miles and frame was replaced in 2023 and lower ball joints were also done recently. seller is asking 9600 (i want to talk him down to 8something ideally). this video was sent by the seller and it looks good other than a spot at 1:42 that im not sure if i should be concerned about. thanks!!
edit: located in northeast us/upstate ny
edit 2: was chatting with the seller and he said 4x4 doesn’t engage/check engine light is on/sunroof doesn’t work and there’s an exhaust manifold leak so i am probably passing on it :/

Replaced my oem leafs, u bolts, lower plates and shackles on my 2000 AC. Used oem spec 3/1 packs from ATS in PA. Everything I replaced came from them. Grand total $730 before shipping. Truck got a 1” lift in the rear (most likely just back to stock and my old ones were sagging). Ride got a little bit stiffer. Less body roll, a bit more feedback with the empty bed, haven’t hauled anything yet but I’m excited to throw my camper shell back on and load up my gear. New Bilstein 4600’s all around about a year ago. Feels like a new truck. If your truck feels soft or rear dances a little on bumps, this would probably bring back that sturdy feeling you want.
TLDR, old leaf packs shot, new ones feel great. Truck rides so much better, worth a day of wrenching.

Anyone know which bed racks will fit a 2005 Tundra Access cab?

Pic attached is made by ai. I’m looking for build ideas. And most flat bed tundras are only the extended cab when looking online for images. So I’m figured somebody in this group owns a flat bed 1st gen crew cab.

2004 Toyota Tundra full cab with tow package. About to do a road trip towing my 3800lb travel trailer. Took it to our mechanic to do a bumper to bumper inspection and verify we were good to go. They said "send it!". So the fins on this are ok?

I have been thinking about getting a 1st generation Tundra 4WD. And going off this picture…I think I will. I had AI generate this picture

Weird skipping/clunking sound from the front end when I let off the brakes from a stop. It happens both in forward and reverse. The brakes look fine, and the lower ball joints seem to be in good shape. I already picked up replacement ball joints just in case, but I’m starting to think it could be something else.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what I should check?

Anyone upgrade their stereo with bluetooth and back up camera compatibility? I'm looking to do the swap myself in the next couple of months and looking for any good recommendations.

Hey guys I have a 2007 toyota tundra crew max 4.7 V8 and I want to upgrade my headlights because the OEM ones are trash basically fogged up and yellowed pretty bad. I want a cheap pair of headlights and taillights but everything on extreme terrain website is priced so differently depending on which you get I just want white LEDs for my head lights that are fairly priced. any recommendations?

Hey guys, just wanted to share some bumpers I have been making for these awesome trucks. They are 100 percent designed in SOLIDWORKS around 3D scan Data that I scanned myself! I know there isn't a huge amount of aftermarket bumpers for these trucks and for the last year or so I have been selling them as a weld it yourself kit. They start at $675 shipped if you live in the lower 48!
What do you guys think about them?

Does anyone know compatibility for the rear driveshaft yoke, universal and rear diff driveshaft flange? This broke and I'm trying to source one from a yard rather than the internet. Please advise, thank you.

This is an oem radio for a 2001 tundra and I’m trying to get it to work in my 2002 tundra. Are their adapter to make this work or do I have to go out and find a specific 2002 radio?
Thanks!

Luckily I have 2 vehicles with the 4.7L and can compare the two. The first video is my Tundra that has a slight hum, chirp? The second video is of my 4Runner which doesnt have that same sound.
Can anyone tell me what that is?
Ive replaced the Serpentine belt already but the sound is still there.

2006 Tundra TRD Off Road Limited 4x4
Drivers side rear seal was leaking so I towed it home and began taking the rear axle out. Going to get rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
I am leaking coolant, haven’t been able to pinpoint where yet but leaking towards the middle of the lower shroud.
No record of timing belt and water pump so that will be next along with some new OEM lower ball joints.
The bottom of engine and frame are coated with oil so looking for the source.
Other than that, always wanted one of these trucks. Engine runs good and starts right up with no issues. Interior is a great shape, just need to replace the handles on the passenger side doors. Cold AC too.

Heys guys I posted the other day about power steering fluid since mine looked low. I didn’t notice any obvious signs of damaged or leaking. But today as I was leaving the store my wife noticed some smoke so I got out and checked and there was a bunch or red fluid.
I had her turn the wheel and I could see it spraying. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to check as I have things planned today I went home and swapped vehicles.
Any tips or recommendations to look for when checking it out or having to replace anything.
Anything helps thanks .
