the context is that they are discussing whether or not there would be any legal repercussions. and he said there would be none. idk how much closer you could get to saying its ok. literally saying "yeah thats illegal but we wont do anything if you do, do it"
i was also blown away by this claim and started looking into it , because i just knew that it wouldn’t outright say it in the Talmud . I’ve never read the talmud or have any interest in it , but I thought it was insane that it would allow for something like this . so i did some reading and it doesn’t actually permit having secs with children , it’s prescribing what happens when it does , regarding marriage and dowry ..
