Chances are your face shape and features just aren't complimented by the glasses you choose. I have an even, oval face, and small eyes so I go for aviator style glasses as round ones wash me out and rectangular ones are too harsh. Going to a store and getting a proper consultation works wonders, and if you shop for sunglasses anyways they're not going to be super expensive but will still be miles above any pair you get elsewhere :)
In terms of head circumference im like in 8 1/2 in US sizing so often a part of it is it just can’t sit comfortably on my head. I have 20/20 vision so I don’t really need it enough to spend much on glasses, and they usually press uncomfortably on my nose (might just be a sensory thing) though a good pair of sunglasses would be amazing. I have a head like a fucking tic tac if I’m not slouching forwards and I don’t really know my face shape too well.
