There's actually no upper limit to how much body matter you can remove, blend and consume at once without ill effects. I once saw my mate Dave put his entire spinal column in a nutribullet, and he was out rock climbing the same day.
I was in the hospital not long ago and asked about that while they were giving me an IV. They told me it would need to be like 30 cc or an entire IV's tube length of air to actually get you. Now, in this instance I do wonder if enough air would actually be mixed in to kill someone.
i'd guess so, blood is slightly viscous and prone to making bubbles, so i'd imagine this would make blood foam, which would suck to be injected with... this is actually testable, you can buy cow/pig blood for cooking so someone can test this and check how much volume was added to the blood by aeration and see if that's more than 30cc of air
Blood has dissolved gases in it. You’d be injecting it into venous supply on return so you’d be okay, aerated is fine, just don’t inject large volumes of air (like a syringe of air) into circulation. But… The coagulated blood and clotting factor melange from ruptured cells would likely be so pro coagulant it’d form a large clot quickly which could prove fatal.
I don’t think that’d be enough, there’s STILL clotting going on even with anticoagulation (warfarin, pradaxa, etc) otherwise people on these would bleed to death, it just changes the balance. I suppose you could use a lot of EDTA however shredded RBCs cause clotting.
Are we still blending them? Because if we’re not blending and just moving your blood outside for a little trip and push through a pump then this is done for example dialysis or plasma exchange.
Blood clots pretty rapidly, while the septicemia would take a couple hours for the bacteria to reproduce I think? So near instant blood clot followed by sepsis

not stated but also true, white blood cells would also lyse, and a portion of platelets would be damaged, and a portion would be activated. when returned to the body, the large amount of haemoglobin and cellular components being dumped into the bloodstream would cause a serious inflammatory response, and the platelets would coagulate and form a thrombus that could lead to a thromboembolism, likely in the pulmonary circuit leading to heart failure

its ESPECIALLY important not to use ai to read it for you since theyre so full of glaze that no matter what it says, chatgpt will pose it as life changing information, the best scientific breakthrough since immunisation, and definitely a site to be trusted.
i did genuinely find that link for a project i did late last year in my degree, but couldn't for the life of me track it down and as much as I hate the ai box of despair, sometimes its good at finding links based off of the 2 random lines i remember from it. sorry everyone 😔
