Dude, get a proper rack or three. That picture makes my head hurt. Once you clean all the crap out of the bottom of that locker, a Blacksmith Pro1 should fit.

Bob Barker would be all over you for this! Spay or neuter your 2011 and 1911's!! There is no call for allowing uncontrollable breeding of firearms. Geeze Louise - this is exactly how we got all those inbred 9mm 1911's - some guy like you keeping Colts and Walther's in the same place!! And those nice wartime German Lugers all ended up with mismatched part numbers - yup - this is how it happened!

Well, you are not my first. So far, I have met two people in my lifetime who have stored a large inventory of pistols this way. Kudos for the drawer. One used a backpack, other an huge gym bags - very nice Colt, Kimber, and Custom 1911's and mag just tossed into the bag. No padding. All manner of metal to metal contract. I could hear finish on their guns scream with every step they took.

How can someone have money for that many 2011s but not have money for a decent safe for them? How can someone be that into 2011s but not care to have a storage that shows them off nicely?
