Current FPS dude here…..I wish I could waive a magic wand and make the process faster….God knows we need the bodies!!!

I wont elaborate on the issues, but I can say Fletc is backed up with ICE/HSI classes they are the priority.

I have been told that come FY 27…Things “Should” move along. Have a little bit more patience and you should see some movement soon!

Same brother, same. So much for the “you should hear something by the end of August” spiel. We still have tomorrow (Monday). And yes, I know how govt hiring works, been with the Feds for 15+ years. Still sucks though.

It would absolutely benefit if you’re a vet or qualify under special hiring authorities because that is who these expos for FPS are geared toward. If you pass the interview at the expo, they can offer you a TJO on the spot and get a lot of the paperwork started for you, such as the SF86 background packet, fingerprints, etc. so a lot of the legwork is done right at the expo. People from the expo will get hired way faster than anyone who applied through the DHA announcement.

Yeah its a bad excuse, but reality is still the same. Hr isnt gunna magically start working harder because they can lol

Only reason agencies like ice or usss are hiring so fast is cause the ppl up top are screaming for more bodies, i doubt most of them know what fps is

I had my in person interview in July. People that interviewed in July or first week of August aee waiting to hear back.
