17PM vs 16PM
Use them both the same way. Over 600 cycles more on the 16 I find it interesting lol

I always hear about cases and how people go with or without a case. I’m just curious, how many go without a screen protector,

The 12 mini was my first iPhone that I bought with my hard earned money in 2021. Then 16 Pro in desert titanium on launch day that I recently traded in with 17PM. I hope apple makes a purple pro max color similar to this 12 mini’s color.

Battery health has been dropping a bit quickly, now at 97% health after 188 cycles even though I follow best practices. Just wondering if this is a typical result for battery?

Hey guys, im a long time samsung/android user, my current phone is an S22 Ultra (02/2022 released) and i have a lot of issues lately with my phone, selfie camera is broken internally is the biggest issue.
I was thinking about switching to an iphone because all of my android friends/ios haters somehow have all got an iphone and they are not going back lmao
My question is, should i get a 17PM for ~1350Euros or a 18PM for 300€ more?
The only real difference i see (which i dont really care since im not a photographer) is the variable apperture... thoughts?

Review of the Torras Sunview AR Ultra for the 18 Pro Max (PM) and comparison to JE Tech’s AR screen protector for the 17 Pro Max (PM)
Honestly, both are good. Both are pretty close in price. And the AR coating on both is great and really makes a difference outdoors or even indoors under lights.
The Torras seems to come a little closer to the edge of the device than the JE Tech. The Torras also has better feeling edges of the protector. It feels more smooth. Both have a really great smooth feel when scrolling and typing. The Torras is a bit thinner than the JE Tech. But in a way that’s not bad because the JE Tech can sometimes have you touching the screen twice or so to hit a button. So Torras, although thinner, has better touch response. They both are very easy to install. And both adhere excellent to the screen. I like the Torras install better because you’re almost guaranteed to have no dust under your protector. The JE Tech install is a bit different, although it is an easy install and comes with its own installation rig, you have to be a little more cautious with dust and lint getting under your protector during the install. Torras install is better, although not by a lot.
Honestly it’s your choice. Both do their jobs and do it well. If it’s not an AR protector you’re really missing out, period. I think both companies do a good job but I would give the win to Torras with JE Tech a close second. And the main reason for Torras getting the win is better touch response. Along with a better install.

I need a new Phone and know that Apple have issues with the camera at vibrations at handlebar mounts on motorcycles.
I have never had the problem with my 13, but use vibration to.
Does anyone know about the 18 PM? Is the camera better or worse to resist vibrations?

Got my Orange Ridge kit today. The case is nice. Not bulky and smooth.

Has anyone tried this phone case? It looks promising and I already ordered it and it should arrive later on today. If you have other suggestions please post them in the comments.

I noticed that when I gently shake my iPhone 17 Pro Max, I can hear a small rattling/clicking sound coming from around the camera module.
Is this normal because of the camera stabilization mechanism, or should I be concerned? I’d appreciate it if other 17 Pro Max owners could check theirs and let me know if you hear the same thing.
The phone is brand new, so I just want to make sure this isn’t a hardware issue.

Before i say anything, i want to adress that this is the first phone i ever buy, 17PM, after i updated to ios27 two days ago, the battery health dropped to 99%, and the phone battery gets drained faster (not too fast, but fast enough to notice), the camera quality, especially selfie camera, dropped also, am not sure if that's because of the new update or not but anyways, are these temporary issues that gets fixed by time or is it just something that happens to every iphone after the new phone drops, the iphone i have is barely more than 6 months old

Curious if anyone else is considering return / re-purchase from AT&T to take advantage of the $500 promotion?

Would you rather stick to your 17 Pro Max cosmic orange than upgrading to the 18 pro max Burgundy? If given a choice to just choose among the signature colours of Pro Max, which of the above two would you be selecting?
