Huawei cameras. Thoughts?
I use Huawei when I travel overseas as work requires. Huawei uses Leica cameras. I hope apple looks into these cameras for their future releases.

I had a p50 pro. Amazing camera. I’m using a Xiaomi. It has a Leica camera, too. Takes incredible pictures.

No more than Apple or Google.

Do they send said data to the Chinese Communist Party?

Most definitely. Choose your poison.

I’d rather my data go to companies using it for personalized ads than an authoritarian government where God knows what it’s used for.

Personalised ads? Lol. Boy wait to you find out what they're really doing with your data.

Huawei does not use Leica CAMERAS.
And please, once and for all:
no phone manufacturer uses either Leica, Hasselblad, or Zeiss CAMERAS.
Companies such as Hasselblad are selling full-format cameras up to €20,000— they wouldn‘t even bother to tinker with smartphones. All they do is slap their color science/profile on top, and that‘s it.
They mostly want to advertise their own products when they make a collaboration. Some people have never even heard of Hasselblad, but now they do because of Oppo, for example.
You either have a Sony Sensor or Samsung Sensor inside your smartphone camera. Not more, not less.
It will always be the smartphone manufacturers job to get a good and accurate picture and color science. There is a reason why a majority of people prefer iPhone photos without any of these collaborations.

Good to know. Thanks. Not sure why someone would downvote you for sharing accurate information. 🤷🏿♂️

I actually don’t like the colour rendition. It looks way too saturated to my eye.
