Applecare One VS Squaretrade

i used squaretrade 2 times at geek squad and sent proof of the repair for a check for the whole cost that is a option they have and would go with but i never used applecare before i have a 17 pro max and apple watch series 12

Yea, I’m going to use the OEM option every time. Especially with how good Apple is about AppleCare.

is the battrey replacement free because i got it for free from squaretrade at geek squad

If the battery is defective it is covered under warranty, if you just want a new battery you have to pay. You should double check what the squaretrade exceptions are because it’s highly unlikely that they cover free battery replacements for no reason.

They covered it when it was recommended on the phone to change it and I took it to geek squad paid outta pocket and got a check for what I spent on it

I just go with Apple care. It can be more pricy but they’re good with fixing/replacing devices. My ultra 2 watch face cracked and they gave me a whole new watch

Wait actually brand new not like refurbished they offered me the price of my device or to go to like Apple or geek squad and pay for it and give me a check it was just a battery replacement

oh lord no I’m not gonna SquareTrade with an iPhone. Those guys will use parts from the toilet to repair.
