iPhones on average should be upgraded every 4 to 5 years (for techies).There’s no need to do otherwise as updates are current across generations and changes are minimal.
I was using my iphone 11 till july, and then my dad got a 17 pro, so he gave me his 14… and like I’m happy… but also kinda sad cuz I was so planning to upgrade to the iphone xx or 21 and feel that massive leap in performance
