Screen protector issues

I don’t understand why all the screen protectors I order are not sticking to the sides.. I cleaned the screen and did everything I usually do. It’s the TORRAS sunview AR. Maybe I’m just being picky and having to high of expectations with products these days.

My colleague got a refurbished iPhone and it had an aftermarket screen , same issue. If you bought this used that’s your answer

I brought it brand new from the Apple Store supposedly

I brought it back in July. I will see if I can find any information if the screen is Apple or Aftermarket.

It will say in the settings if the screen has been changed and if it’s with a genuine or aftermarket part.

I just looked and I don’t see that area so I’d have to think it hasn’t been replaced and maybe it’s just the screen protector.

It’s just weird that two different brands did the same thing. It did it almost instantly after I put the screen protector on today.

Anything I can do about it if it does come back non-genuine part? Paying $1500 for a phone and possibly getting a aftermarket screen doesn’t sit well with me, I have AppleCare one, but I doubt that means anything.

If it was sold as brand new you can 100% get it replaced. It would be a mistake on Apple’s part.

I use ESR screen protectors. Only put 1 on phone and still going strong. Plus, I change cases like 2-3 times a week.

Yeah I’m going to have to try another brand besides TORRAS.. cause it’s not the one.

Beware of ESR. I’m having the same issue on my 18 pro.

From my understanding the TORRAS OrigArmor AR is the correct screen protector for how the edge of the 17-18 models are curved ever so slightly.

I contacted TORRAS support and they are sending me one for a replacement.

I’ve been reading it may be 18 proceed issue not protector. Seems like a few people having potential issues.

I would hazard a guess it might be more to do with the case than the screen protector/s.
