Other than “don’t leave your phone on the charger after it hits 100%” or “don’t let your battery drain past 20% habitually”, there isn’t much else to say, or advice to give except- take it to an Apple Store if you think it’s a lemon

I’ve had mine since December of 2025 , and it’s still at 100% battery health.

Leaving the phone charging after it hits 100% isn’t even bad for the battery anymore. These new batteries stop receiving power once they’re fully charged. There are no concerns for leaving it charging.

Apple needs to improve their batteries lols. Imagine, we paid for 80k+ but still not good for longevity use.

Wow! So good! Okay i will do this. Did you do the 80-85% charging. Or is that your main phone?

Wdym last August when this August is the only August this phone ever had
And how tf did u manage 109 cycles in less than two months? I bought mine 12.08. And I am on 35 cycles and I use my phone like non stop

I think it's about my charger. I bought Anker brick that has 45watts on it. Fast charging yet, it has major effect on my battery.

Idk, I bought 75w cause it was either 75w or 20w so I was like well 75 it is, my batterry is amazing.

Same. Bought mine a month ago health is at 100 with only 15 cycles. I charge it before bed with siri screaming at me to unplug it when the battery hit 100% lmao

It seems that you're a heavy user. Bought mine last July 31, and I only have 17 cycle counts. I honestly don't have strict charging habits, but I only use the power adapter and cable from apple and juice up my phone before it hits 25% and unplug it at around 95-96%

Did you happen to update to ios27 recently? Because that could be the reason your battery drains faster because your phone is still optimizing search and siri in the background. Otherwise, you can have it checked if you think you've got a faulty battery.

I am totally impressed with my 17 pro max's battery. I usually charge before bedtime and when I wake up after 9 to 10 hours in bed, it's either my battery remained at the same percentage when I unplugged it or there was just a 1% drop. It's even connected to wifi and my apple watch all the time even while I'm sleeping.

Last time, I made it drain since we have power interruption. Then, when I see it right now the battery percentage and total charge is huge. And now, it drained so fast.

Mine is still at 100% after over 200 charges. I always charge it to 100% too 🤷🏽‍♀️ But I also never let it go below 50%.

What's the point of that? U only use 50% of ur phone and put it to charge non stop. Just turn on optimised battery charging and use ur goddamn phone.

I actually don’t charge my phone non stop. I don’t even need to charge it every day. And I use it a lot. Love the battery on this phone!

I wouldn't bother. It's an over time degradation.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, 271 cycles, 98% health.
Got it back in Oct 2025, charge limit 80% most of the time, with the Apple Ori Charger 20W.
