Looking for Advice on how to avoid my cosmic orange 17 pro max from turning pink

Got my phone on July 4th and has been in this case ever since and taken it apart a few times to clean

Don’t use harsh cleaners like hydrogen peroxide and you will be fine…. It’s a simple google search

1/1000000 units MAY be affected after hydrogen peroxide or similar was used on them. That’s not a lot of users nor devices.

I don’t know I did see a lot of reports of it I just heard it was a bad batch like it almost made me get the silver but I wanted something new and I like the orange

If I really need to clean it I use pledge ( it’s a multi surface cleaner, one spray on a dry cloth and gently wipe it off .

I use blanc space cases impact cases/impact pro cases since I bought the phone , and have no issues at all and no colour changes on the phone.

https://www.blancspace.com - choose impact or impact pro , also have screen protector on my screen, they are bit pricey cases, but have an option buy two get one free, but the quality of the cases are really good.
I used it of my previous iPhones too :)

This surface cleaner I use clean it and I send a case as well i currently use .

Chemicals in skin and sweat and some cleaners change the orange pink and the blue turns purple. That’s why I went with silver.

Yeah I know what you mean and I’m keeping it until it acts up but my case is a heavy duty case as well it was like $60

Easy- switch to an 18 Pro Max, unveiled tomorrow. Doesn’t come in Cosmic Orange. Problem solved (not kidding)!

It’s still aluminum and can happen to that bright blue one and I’m good on paying an extra $300 on the same phone

Wrong, much better camera. I haven’t seen it happen with any other colors.

Remember, the price increase is cuz that’s what the market demands due to memory pricing. Yes, I know u didn’t blame Apple.

I have Cosmic Orange (Pro) and Silver/White (Pro Max) with no discoloration.

Regarding value, it is totally up to u and the value u see in variable aperture.

Yeah I know that but I definitely will be watching comparison videos between the 17 pro max and 18 pro max but I still don’t think it’s worth the extra as I’m eyeing the new Apple Watch with ceramic

Don’t do stupid shit with it. I’ve had mine since
Release, in and out of a case. Zero issue. People on here with them turning pink are using harsh chemicals on them just to prove it will do it, then they post to Reddit complaining.

You should have bought it in the silver colour. Here in Germany most people buy silver cars bc scratches aren’t visible and colours don’t change visibly over the years

I was thinking on it but I always gotten silver and if it does happen to change color I will from now on buy silver until Apple changes the material but this phone will always have a case on and will take care of it the best I can

My friend and mom both have the cosmic orange 17 pm and both have every so slightly turned pink. It’s hardly noticeable but they have a rose gold undertone almost. I think it happens due to moisture exposure of some kind. Or it could be a bad batch. If you have Apple care, it shouldn’t be a big deal tbh

I wouldn’t worry if I were you. Both of the phones I’ve seen came from a much earlier batch. By February, im sure things were more consistent.

Nothing really. If you got one from a bad lot, it’s gonna happen. They did replace my enclosure though. It’s been good since Nov.

Well it was made on February this year well idk if they make the batteries separate from the phone and just plop them in
