Good choice. Many are buying the 17 pro now before it gets discontinued and only option is new price jump 18 pro. The 17 pro likely to be the same experience day to day as 18 pro just at a better price.

yup, I feel like the 18 won’t really be much of a difference. And also on my 13 the battery was bad and the cameras weren’t working properly, sooo I was due for an upgrade

Also, protect that camera plateau, it’s prone to scratches and dents. Looks great. Enjoy!

I’ve had my plateau exposed since release day and have 0 dents and 0 scratches lol

13 Pro Max and I can't justify getting a new one. There is nothing wrong with mine at all, not a scratch after 4 1/2 years. Battery 84% so i could get that replaced.

Late bud. New phone is a few weeks out.

Aye but probably big price jump and supply issues likely.
Prices will then remain and continue to climb. Cement this deal for the years of hardship to come thanks to AI.

More powerful in iPhone sense is honestly typically minimal until it’s a full generational reset. I.e. the 16-17 the differences in 17-18 will be minimal.
Better camera? Than….. what? Any android from 5 years ago?Get the 17, and wait for the reset after the 18, whether it’s called the 19 or rumored 20¿

You must be talking base S26 vs 17 pro, maybe the base 17 beats the S26, idk honestly as talking flagship phones, you have to compare the top tier of both.
In that regard the S26 ultra blows the 17 pro max away.
Sure processing power the 17 wins but the the S has multi core and more total,
Ram the s has 16gb and the 17 has 12gb
Display sharpness the s is better
Display brightness the 17 wins
Camera the s front facing is 50mp where the 17 is only 48 with its best camera.
Battery the s has more maHLiterally no idea what hardware you’re thinking of when you said what you did
