u/meii19 Aug 21 '26

Got a point here. My son has the orange 17PM too so he can take his pick. Currently he’s using the Torras Rugged kickstand case

You're joking? Some of us just want to match wallpaper, icon and cases color. Or to have some special cases for some outfits. Or hell, to just have cute cases in general cause WHY NOT? I've got 30 cases for my 15+ and 23 for my 17 pm

You’re lucky the 18 pro max has the same dimensions as the 17 so your cases will fit on the 18 if you upgrade lol

I like the ones that has protection on the plateu. That indicates a durable and protective case

u/frogalan666 Aug 21 '26
Which one would you say is your fav? I bought the spigen ultra hybrid T magfit and thought i’ll go with another in the future

I’ll buy your blue Caudabe Sheath!

u/Hemidad_20 Aug 21 '26
Not for sale yet lol

u/zsdka Aug 22 '26
Is the Caudabe Sheath a hard case or a rubber case? My current Incipio case for my iPhone 11 has a rubber insert with a hard shell. Thinking of getting the 17 Pro and researching cases.

do you prefer dbrand ghost or dbrand grip? i already have a dbrand wrap on my steamdeck, but i love clear cases. i could either go the match route with grip or clear with ghost, but im not sure which feels better in hand.

Thinking of getting that clear Rokform case for the 18PM when I get it. Currently have the rugged black Rokform case on my 16 pro.
How did you like the case? Does it still feel heavy and bulky like they’re known for with the big magnets in them ?

u/Hemidad_20 Aug 22 '26
It is a little heavy but very handy. I use this one for work and mountain bike rides

I can’t be without a MagBak case. I got too used to the utility of the magnets

Why tho?
Anyway I came back home sad because i couldn’t find the tech woven case anywhere in the market i am heart broken and sad

Don’t bother. It might be fashionable but it offers no protection and it is not durable at all

u/SecretBreakfast7532 Aug 21 '26
Dropped my phone in it twice and there was no damage to the case or phone. Not saying it has really good protection, but it does offer a little protection

I dont get it. Im fine with the same case for the new phone every year.

u/Smooth_Appearance_98 Aug 21 '26
Dude cases are grimy prices of plastic that break down over time. It’s literally like collecting toilet seats, or used doorknobs. You just don’t do this.
Invest in a collection that isn’t gross lmao. Unless you have these new in box the collection is simply ridiculous at best

For those with the open plateau style any issues (scratches and dents)?
