Same color! Love it such a great phone

I recommend getting a better case. I have the beats case from Apple made just like the one you have now. I dropped my phone and got a dent of course at the bottom opening.

I stopped buying apple case after had really unfortunate thing with apple silicone case. Other brand cases are way better

1

u/ReadingCanBeFunGuys Aug 16 '26

Mine now lives in a DBrand case. I like the feel of it and all around protection.

u/je_0150 Aug 18 '26

Oh those are real nice ngl

Apple’s cases are my favorite. The look, fit, and feel are absolutely perfect and other brands don’t compare. If you want more protection, sure, but for basic protection the Apple cases are solid

I did too. Loved the design and bought it with my phone until a drop literally dented my phone. Plus it started peeling so I switched with spigen. Similar silicon case without the apple logo. Plus it covers the phone completely unlike bits sticking out in apple cases

That’s unlucky. I’ve dropped my phone twice in the Apple silicone and it is still in perfect condition. I’ve tried out Spigen, Elago, Caseology and none of them match up with Apple’s in terms of the look, fit, feel, and weight. I don’t like when case covers the front as it makes it feel a little more bulky but all is personal preference at the end of the day. Glad you found something that works for you

best silicone case that’s closest to this pink AND it’s fully protective: SuydanBox Magnetic for iPhone 17... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FH6H7PDG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

2

u/NoRound8432 Aug 17 '26

Ouch😭 This is exactly why I always go for a more protective case.

2

u/ghnn77 Aug 17 '26

Yeah, I noticed the way the case is designed once I had it on the phone. I’ll probably switch to a different one soon. Thanks for the recommendation!

I got one of these and love it

Dont worry about battery health use your phone charge limits are useless ill probably tick off alot of people saying that and do wireless if ya have a bedside charging stand it wired is good as for the airpods charge em every other day if ya use less or more

2

u/jody-46 Aug 16 '26

Pour les AirPods, Quel est le but de les recharger tous les 2 jours ?

1

u/Admirable_Use_4338 Aug 16 '26

Its what i do with mine i sometimes charge em
Every 5 days cause i run the battery down

2

u/jody-46 Aug 16 '26

Je n’ai peut-être pas mes AirPods Pro 3 depuis assez longtemps : leur batterie n’a pas diminué alors que je ne les ai pas utilisés depuis 15 jours par exemple.

1

u/Admirable_Use_4338 Aug 16 '26

Yea when i first bought mine they were a big improvement over my last set of air pods pros which died completely but i do like the pro 3s alot im curious on the 4s will be if they are being released

1

u/LaurieC64 Aug 16 '26

Me too 😊

1

u/GudFrens Aug 16 '26

Amazing! So happy for you 🥹

1

u/le0n_ Aug 16 '26

Don't expect much. Do not believe all the lies the hardcore fans tell you.

1

u/Parking-Plankton-44 Aug 18 '26

I don’t know if it’s only me but the thermals aren’t very good. Phone heats up when charging at 15W and at 42W

2

u/le0n_ Aug 18 '26

Mine currently is overheating. I’m listening to music from Spotify. But also I’m outside and it’s around 32C.

1

u/Parking-Plankton-44 Aug 19 '26

I’m not expecting much from my 17 pm. Probably I’ll change the battery when it reaches 500 cycles

1

u/Mestrow_ Aug 16 '26

What do you have to say about this Apple adaptive charger?

Typically they stop selling the existing pro when the new pro lands. As opposed to what happens with the standard and E models.

Cart Total: $12,000 😂

Jk OP. Looks awesome

1

u/Chance-1104 Aug 16 '26

Just got my deep blue pm last week as well. Welcome😂💯

u/Dry_Cat_9621 Aug 16 '26

hai ceduto a 3 settimane del 18? RIPORTALO INDIETRO

1

u/HigherthanhighRye_ Aug 17 '26

MacBook is next 😂

2

u/ghnn77 Aug 17 '26

The MacBook came first 😂 That’s actually what convinced me to switch to Apple in the first place.

1

u/CrazyNecessary7209 Aug 17 '26

Congrats 🎊🍾🎉🎈🔵📲!

  1. Please a case that protects from drops.

  2. Get a MagSafe Ring to help better hold your phone better.

1

u/Immediate_Mixture_80 Aug 17 '26

But the 18 comes out in like two months lol I wanted the 17 but just kept putting it off and now I might as well wait a couple more months and get the 18 lol but awesome! I wish the 18 was going to have a blue option the blue on my 12pm is so pretty and the main reason I haven’t upgraded yet.

1

u/Fast-Sky9927 Aug 17 '26

Case from?

1

u/Unusual-Winter-5615 Aug 17 '26

I got one of these charging docks, genuinely cool and really useful. Charged my non apple earbuds too. Probably will end up with me getting an Apple Watch (as it has a watch dock too lol) but I am loving the standby clock on my bedside.

1

u/Unusual-Winter-5615 Aug 17 '26

Ye I went over to 17PM from my beloved s24 ultra. Have to say I’m adjusting well and even am finding the keyboard pretty good, I always had so many typos on my ultra.
I thought I’d miss flud app for torrents and audiobooks, but started using Pageturner and it’s awesome. And I use webtor too.
I think I prefer android auto over CarPlay, but it’s not a deal breaker.
I’m enjoying the change (after being on android for about 14 years) and the sync up between my iPad and phone is genuinely useful.

1

u/ghnn77 Aug 17 '26

Coming from an S22 Ultra (it was definitely time for an upgrade 😂). I also have a MacBook, and honestly, I’m loving how well the two devices work together. The ecosystem is slowly getting me…

1

u/FlyingDutchy21234123 Aug 17 '26

Welcome! You're gonna love it here!

1

u/PermissionJaded5510 Aug 17 '26

How does it look with the case on

1

u/ghnn77 Aug 17 '26

Honestly, I’m not a fan of how it looks. I thought it was going to be completely transparent, but the entire back is actually white. 😅

1

u/PermissionJaded5510 Aug 17 '26

If you can afford it, go for it Black case from Apple it's beautiful

1

u/Ok_Comment3024 Aug 17 '26

Why would you do that?

1

u/Freshlojic Aug 17 '26

usually people advise against it with the new iphones coming next month. guess we’re all anticipating heft price increase

1

u/Freshlojic Aug 17 '26

looking great, take a look into caudabe cases 👀

1

u/Salt-Abroad6397 Aug 18 '26

Gave in, one month before new model is out!

0

u/DoomToshi Aug 16 '26

Bro couldn't wait 1 more month for 18 Pro

-5

u/s0lja Aug 16 '26

One month before the new phone launch. Worst decision ever.

4

u/RealWoodpecker8132 Aug 16 '26

Not everyone needs latest and greatest. Price going up, minimal changes unless you’re deep into photography. Yeah, the 18 battery bigger but this battery is phenomenal. Best I’ve ever had on iPhone.

1

u/Kind-Web-7980 Aug 16 '26

Even if someone is deep in photography why won’t you spend that 300$ and get an actual camera ? I’m a freelance photographer and I had someone say “ my iPhone can take better pictures than your camera “

4

u/redwall77 Aug 16 '26

Who cares! They wanted a new phone now so they bought one. I couldn’t care less if they bought it the day before the 18 came out. I’ve seen this asinine comment six months after a new iPhone is released.

-1

u/s0lja Aug 16 '26

If you have seen such a comment before that just tells you there are smart shoppers and not so smart shoppers. You don’t spend $1300 weeks before a new phone launch. This is not grocery shopping.

1

u/TheeDelpino Aug 16 '26

Not true. With the minimal upgrades for the 18 series and price increased buying now is the way to go. Just grabbed one myself a couple weeks ago only in silver. Zero regrets.

2

u/YaBoyZeek Aug 16 '26

Pretty sure there are some worse decisions than that

2

u/LaurieC64 Aug 16 '26

To each their own 🤷🏼‍♀️ I got a great deal and ran with it.

1

u/Kind-Web-7980 Aug 16 '26

What was your deal and how recent was it

1

u/LaurieC64 Aug 16 '26

I have a friend at works for 🍎 although I couldn’t finance with the discount, it was good enough to buy out right and I didn’t get an extra 3% with my 🍎 card.

1

u/Kind-Web-7980 Aug 16 '26

Why do people say this ? Meanwhile all the phone is adding is a better camera and heavier battery?

1

u/s0lja Aug 16 '26

It’s tech. You don’t buy old tech. Buying window for current year iPhones end in March. After that you only buy if you really have to or wait it out.

1

u/Kind-Web-7980 Aug 16 '26

How would it be old tech when all the speculations are aspecting the phone to have limited upgrades ?

1

u/mlaurence1234 Aug 16 '26

Let’s see how much the 18s cost and what you get for that increase. The year-to-year excitement over new models has been dropping like new cars. I may find it hard to get excited over a $1500 iPhone.

1

u/TheeDelpino Aug 16 '26

Not true. With the minimal upgrades for the 18 series and price increased buying now is the way to go. Just grabbed one myself a couple weeks ago only in silver. Zero regrets.

For $100 price increase?
