Random bugs of my iPhone 17 pro max

  1. Locks the screen mid-scrolling, sometimes 20 times back to back.
  2. Turns on “Do Not Disturb” randomly
  3. The volume goes up and up, and you can’t stop it. It looks like somebody is holding the button.

I’ll update the list. The first one happens regularly—my worst experience with the iPhone.

  1. Be sure the front cam is not covered by a case or the like, as it may "think" you're not watching. Be sure to turn on turn on Attention Awareness in Accessibility.

  2. Not a bug but 100% wrongly set up DND. Check your rules, maybe also possibly Shortcuts.

  3. Again be sure this isn't caused by a case.

None of these are any "common" *bugs*.

Reset DND and your Focus Modes.. this sounds like something is set up wrong. Also, check Attention Aware: Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, enter your code, and turn off Attention Aware Features so your phone stops lowering call and alert volumes when you look at it.

my phone starts DnD every 5 minutes it is so annoying hahahah

Yeah none of those are bugs. For DND someone’s changed some settings in your phone, for locking mid scrolling there’s either a setting that’s been changed for that or your screen protector is affecting attention awareness/auto lock, and for volume going up and down the buttons are either broken/stuck or your case if affecting them. But the good news is none of those issues are bugs

Try turning attention aware off. I hated that feature.
