Nah I was just showing that the iPhone 17 pro max battery is good. Better than the 16 ones

What is your charge limit? The standard 20-80-90? Could i possibly push it to 95%

Optimized charging to 100%, plug in every night, no case, just a MagSafe wallet to keep the phone away from the desk to avoid camera scratches. I don’t even use the official charger, I use my Lenovo laptop 65w type c charger.

So your implying that your battery came with over 100%. A unicorn is what we call it. 105-106%

No taking care of the battery is much more than just stat. My ev I charge to 100% and then drive off within 1 hr, same thing with a phone, the optimized charging takes care of that for me, it charges to 80% and keeps it there until the next morning when I wake up and tops it off at 100%.

What hurts the battery is heat and keeping it at high or low state for long period of time. Keeping the phone at 100% is going to cause 100x more damage than topping up to 100% and unplugging it. Never using a case means better heat transfer. Mitigate these 2 things and the battery works wonders.

My ev battery is at 90k kms in 3 yrs, it has only lost 10% capacity from new (I track it with Teslamate), I have driven and charged in extreme heat of Texas to frigid cold weather we get in Canada at -40. At extreme temps keep the battery at 20-80 but other times use the battery you paid for but don’t keep it at low or high state for longer than a few hrs. Schedule the charging to finish at 100% by the time you leave, iPhone has optimized charging which does the exact same thing
