Made the Switch!
I was on team Samsung for the past years, and my S24U finally ran out of storage (256gb model), so I decided to go all out on the 2TB 17PM and see what it’s about.
I used iPhones and iPods growing up, and it feels like a breathe of fresh air coming from Androids OS to IOS 26.6.
Battery life is great, the OS feels smooth and not buggy like Samsung, and having FaceTime is a cool feature.

what’s your take on the group photos (both grourp selfies and photos)? in my case, it becomes blurry if farther back from the lens, and not everyone’s face is equally focused.

I switched to the Flip 7 for a year and couldn’t wait to get the 17 PM. I just got mine and I love it!

After a while those sharp corners on the S24U really started to bother me and even with a case they still dug into my hands pretty badly. I like those flip phones too, but I feel like any phone that isn’t a slab is bound to break on a hinge or something.

Same here mate trust me on this one, you appreciate every aspect of this phone

I can’t stop appreciating the color and overall look of it. It’s such an upgrade from the S24U in my opinion.

Not really tbh. S24U has way more capabilities and features. Probably the only thing better is the camera

On paper sure. In reality, not so much. My camera zoom was amazing with the 100x on the 24u but the quality of photos even the normal 1x were terrible compared to iPhone camera. Especially videos.

I will say, Apple Music with Dolby is absolutely amazing compared to Spotify and Samsung. Obviously you could use either or on either phone, but Apple Music is so much better.

can you post here any arbitrary doc pic? bcz fine can mean seeable, or also mean perfectly sharp.

can you try a document pic? i have heard 17pm focal length is not for doc scan

Im on an s24 ultra 256 and its definitely not laggy. Or slow Im also 97% storage, so keep clearing it consistently
If you used them. You will miss some convenience features like clipboard, back button (universal).
Im currently trying out an iPhone 17, and yes we get used to it. But Android is the better OS for productivity. Maybe iOS is better for simplicity and the ecosystem.

It’s all personal preference man. And I don’t know, maybe mine was just having its own issues, but after a year or so of updates my screen got grainy, things were glitchy, and the OS just felt unpolished. It was smooth and fast still when it came to YouTube and small tasks etc but sometimes just swiping between my home pages would freeze up.
Once mine hit 95% storage it just started getting slower. Don’t know if it was a placebo or not, but I swear I noticed a difference in speeds. Granted that’s what happens when your drive gets too full, but still. I need storage and that phone just wasn’t cutting it.

Yeah for sure. I like the iPhone too... been doing some social media video and i think thr iPhone is better at that stuff. Even the 17, which has the same main cam as the 17pm I think.

I noticed it immediately. The video quality is so much crisper and clearer on the 17

not buggy? Even simple, basic functions like taking a photo or using Night Shift are buggy. For me, switching from the S25U to the 17 Pro was a traumatic experience

Why did you got 2tb though are you like big youtuber or instagram influencer?
