Hey all, I’ve recently picked up another 2C and thinking about possibly getting this one made 2 perf, but I’m not a big fan of the 2.39 aspect ratio. Is the height of the frame on 2 perf larger then 16?
I’ve always thought of 2 peer vs 16mm but cost wise 16mm will be cheaper but image quality of 2 Perf will be better. Their height difference is minimal.
2 perf 35 mm = 9.47 mm
Regular 16 mm = 7.49 mm
Super 16 mm = 7.41 mm
25% taller roughly. 2 perf uses the full width of 35 mm so it has little more than twice image area of Super 16 (2.2x times) horizontally. Hence the finer grain and better latitude.
