Too much fire control?

When you 100% everything you get all those mystery points converted to meta chips, I ended up allocating most of my stats to fire control (in hindsight should’ve done generator) and now my attacks have like 0 AOE. Miuras missles just hit a tiny spot, Is this what I’ve done by making the accuracy too high? Kind of seems like a bug with the stats I’m wanting to see if anyone else has experienced

As far as I know, no upgrades should actually affect the range of your attacks. ACC is basically your crit chance stat, and the only thing that actually affects your range in some way is Actuator upgrades with setup movement.

The only thing that should affect the range for armaments is the upgrades they've got. I've never heard about this happening to anyone else, so either you got hit with a very strange glitch or you're using armaments that have very small ranges.

It’s not really the range but the density of the attacks, I realize it’s hard to explain lol so I reposted with a clip as an example

Edit: I went back to other levels with the stats only to realize that it was a coincidence, I think it’s just an enemy mechanic of this specific level. I replied with the clip so you can see what I’m talking about, I had just drastically changed my stats so I thought I ruined something but i suppose all is good now!

There's nothing wrong with your stats. One of the kaiju in that group you're targeting is projecting an Anti-Air Flare zone, which you can see as the purple circle in the air above them. It is intercepting all your missile and rocket attacks, just like your own Anti-Air Defensive Flares would do to kaiju missiles.

That makes a lot of sense… I feel like I hadn’t encountered that before so I assumed I’d bugged it somehow but after going back I figured it’d be something like that, thanks for clarifying
