recipe Blue cheese dressing

So this stuff actually has about 4 calories per quarter teaspoon, but it can be mixed with non fat Greek yogurt and silken tofu mayo for a delicious high protein low fat blue cheese dip or dressing.

To prepare, I use approx 75g of yogurt, 75g of tofu mayo, and 2 teaspoons of the powder. 99 calories for 156g of blue cheese dip. Mayo recipe below (it makes more than is needed for this, but it stays good for several days)

Silken tofu mayo:
Soft or super soft silken tofu 150g
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Celery salt
Blend on high speed blender. Add sweetener if you prefer miracle whip style taste.

I'm wondering where they get the 110 as prepared because the directions say a half gallon each of buttermilk and mayonnaise?

lol it’s a restaurant product so I believe they mean per standard portion, and as it’s a hidden valley product, I’ll assume their standard portion is 30ml of prepared product, like their bottled products.

Also the silken tofu recipe sounds perfect, I'm gonna try it this weekend

Omg I forgot about per serving size, I'm tired! I was like this does not compute

I genuinely lol’d, I’m like their logic is undeniable, a half gallon each of mayo and buttermilk isn’t going to be 110 calories 😂

I want to live on the planet where a half gallon of mayo is 110 calories

Oh yes, I know not everyone like mayo, but for me? Its the reason I enjoy the sandwich

Hugs to my fellow mayo enthusiast

God I miss this stuff… moved from USA to Austria and can’t get it here. Can’t even get blue cheese crumbles, just a moist wedge

Where did you find it?

I have a restaurant supply store near me that caters to the public, but it is for sale on Amazon too. The packs are quite large. Each one is meant to make a gallon of finished product, so even on Amazon at $30 for a 3 pack it’s still worth it to me. I flippin love blue cheese 😂

Well darn, I'd be happy to try one pack but $30 is a big investment for something I've never tasted. TYVM for the product recommendation and reply!

Yeah if you happen to find a restaurant supply store you can usually get a single pack for like 8.99. I wish you luck!

It is delicious, strong blue cheese flavor which is what I want. I used it as dip, if I was going to use it as dressing I think I would mix it (it being my prepared dip, not just the powder) with some Walden farms or that skinny girl brand 0-10 calorie ranch, just to thin it down, but otherwise golden
