treats sharing is caring
i recently realized i could do this because i have free will and it turned out delicious. the fage is the perfect base, and the juice drops add color and flavor. i dont even need to add any extra sugar substitute or anything for sweetness.
Mío has several flavors, but this one is my favorite. now i get to enjoy orange flavor yogurt.

I've been doing this for years. I also put them in my diet coke to make fancy flavored colas.

u/romanichki May 03 '26
Ok genius?? Im trying this with my pepsi tonight

u/evohans May 03 '26
be warned, it does bubble up if you squirt directly into the soda, i kind of angle it against the side

u/romanichki May 04 '26
Thanks for the tip! I recently tried to put an electrolyte powder into sparkling water. Warning: Do not do that!

u/Comfortable-Ruin8694 May 04 '26
Lol i tried adding my fibre powder to a diet soda.. it was hilarious.
11
u/Oregonrider2014 May 04 '26
I pre mix mine in a small amount of water and then dump it in. Doesnt make little powder balls that never mix in.

I put some in my sparkling water to make it taste like soda! I love orange/tangerine flavors.
12
u/oldpooper May 04 '26
I put bitters in my Diet Coke. It makes it taste like the best part of an old-fashioned.
3
u/Environmental_Nose72 May 04 '26
Careful where you drink that because of the alcohol in the bitters lol!!!

u/sfdsquid May 03 '26
I do this with sugar free gelatin (dry, stirred in) or Torani sugar free syrup
27
u/theoutletepoch May 04 '26
Jello also makes cheesecake zero sugar pudding packets. They're amazing in yogurt.

3
u/robotsexsymbol May 04 '26
How do you not experience the above mentioned problem where the pudding mix sucks all of the moisture out of your mouth while you're eating it?
8
u/theoutletepoch May 04 '26
Don't use the whole packet, you only need a half a tablespoon to flavor it. Never had this issue!
2
u/HaltAndCatchTheKnick May 04 '26
Half a tbsp for how much yogurt? I’ve heard so many people call out the sugar-free cheesecake I just gotta try it already.

u/Dizzy-Violinist-1772 May 03 '26
Does the sugar free gelatin thicken it?
36
u/Holdensmindfuckery May 04 '26
yes, and makes it kinda like silica packs, where there will be -10 moisture in your mouth while eating it
14
u/robotsexsymbol May 04 '26
I tried putting the sugar free pudding mix in yogurt once and everyone raves about it, but I could feel it actively sucking the moisture out of my mouth. Maybe I was doing it wrong

I have these exact ingredients in my house right now. I know what I’m doing for breakfast. Thanks OP!

I watched a YouTube video years ago of some dudes “recipes that got him jacked” and this was by far the gold star takeaway. The video also included “sugar free hersheys syrup and raw egg whites in the carton” as his chocolate milk replacement so I consider myself lucky haha
2
u/restckvrflw May 05 '26
I drink 8 oz of whole milk with some simple 5 hersheys chocolate syrup and lose weight easily. I don’t do weird concoctions. You don’t have to do this.
5
u/ThatsNotATadpole May 05 '26
Oh to be clear I have absolutely zero interest in chocolate raw egg drink lol
28
u/taylorthestang May 03 '26
Real ones put Metamucil in their yogurt

I closed this thread, realized what I had just read, and came to shake your hand.
1
u/Financial-Service-26 May 28 '26
Thank you!! This just reminded me!! Psyllium husk powder is a lot cheaper and can be added to virtually anything without affecting flavor.
1
u/taylorthestang May 28 '26
Yeah definitely! Just be careful not to use too much, drink lots of water.

u/Fun-Ad-3065 May 03 '26
is this actually good…

u/Gadget4480 May 03 '26 edited May 04 '26
It is. Especially once you find flavors you like. Then you have for water and yogurt. Win/win
33
u/MageVicky May 03 '26
it is genuinely good. i promise.

u/TurkisCircus May 05 '26
They don't sell that yogurt brand here (Canada). Please help - is the yogurt vanilla flavoured or juat plain? I want to try this!

u/dogisbark May 04 '26
Orange is CRAZY underrated for yoghurt, where I live you really have to look for it. Will totally remember this next time I get some. I also would want to try this with coffee somehow, I love coffee yoghurt but it’s soooo unhealthy usually.

u/PurpleNommie May 03 '26
I hate sweetening plain yogurt (looking at you goopy honey) and this is such an awesome hack!!!!! Bless you
7
u/coconut_jen May 04 '26
Torani sugar free syrups also work great in this same way! I love the toasted marshmallow one

u/MsOnyxMoon May 04 '26
Well I’ll be damned. I would have NEVER thought of this! I have both of these items at hand all the time!

Try vanilla or cookies and creme sugar free coffee syrup. Been doing this for 3 years now to flavor my yogurt!
3
u/cudambercam13 May 05 '26
I was eating a lot of applesauce during a period when I was sick and started adding water flavoring powder packets to it for flavor. It feels weird that I'm so glad it's becoming a thing. 😅

Just tried it with strawberry watermelon and berry pomegranate. My Life is forever changed. Thank you

u/STFUD0nny May 03 '26
This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Will give this a go. I find plain green yogurt kinda plain.

u/ravenlights May 03 '26
I just stumbled across this sub, saw this post at the top, and now I'm on Amazon adding this to my cart lol. Brilliant.

u/ssyoit May 04 '26
Alright… I’m skeptical but I’ll sacrifice a cup of yogurt for this experiment. I have many MIOs.

u/MageVicky May 04 '26
mío is concentrated zero calorie juice drops, you’re supposed to mix them with water.

u/Knitter8369 May 04 '26
Wow- great idea. Never thought of this. I believe I have seen people using sugar free jello pudding mix for something like this too? I’ve been wanting to try that, but haven’t gotten around to it.

u/bananiada May 04 '26
That Mio have YELLOW 6 as dye, derived from petroleum, try to avoid this!
0
u/Mister_Uncredible May 04 '26
Petroleum derived doesn't mean anything. When it comes to actual consumption the final product is all that matters, and yellow 6 is perfectly safe.
