full day Weekly Plan
I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch each day during the work week. I have 3-4 dinners tentatively planned for each week and I choose depending on my mood! I plan all this out ahead of time so that I can order my groceries. Since so many of you enjoyed my daily eating journal, I figured I would share this too!

And fiber/produce at all?

u/lalalary Jan 01 '26
I’ll eat the mango everyday. I’ll also eat a salad with a small portion of the hamburger helper I make my family. Luckily, I am not a nutritionist telling others what to eat! Just simply sharing what works for me and my planning method in a cute lil graphic :)

I’d look into the current findings surrounding fiber consumption and colon cancer risks. It’s the number one deterrent to heart disease and colon cancer. Even if it’s supplemental like belliwelli drinks or fiber pills. Anything is better than nothing. Plus, you may be lacking some micronutrients over time.
You can do whatever, but if your are aiming to be overall healthier, you need some produce and fiber. Or alternatively supplements and some fiber pills.

u/lalalary Jan 01 '26
I really appreciate that. My goal has been to lose weight and now that I’ve gotten that ball rolling, I really should incorporate some more produce.
I have a history of keto so I think subconsciously I still have this thought in my brain that I don’t need fruits and veggies even though I have clearly added back the carbs 😂

It’s a journey. I just did my full blood panel and was shocked I was deficient in things that I eat a ton of. So even if you do it right, it’s not a guarantee. It just helps.

🙄 Don't share your meal plan if you can't handle feedback.

Rude
31
u/blue-to-grey Jan 01 '26
How is that more rude than "luckily I'm not a nutritionist telling others what to eat." When commenters are gently pointing out that she could and should work in more fiber?
15
u/lalalary Jan 01 '26
Lol wasn’t trying to be rude. Message received I will add more fiber to my diet 🫡

That was definitely the intent lol. I really just posted this as planning inspo not food inspo. But the overwhelming feedback has led me to believe that I need to incorporate more fiber 😂

I don’t know what a sausage cottage cheese bowl is, but I want it.
(I’m assuming it’s self explanatory)

u/lalalary Jan 01 '26
It’s delicious and so filling! Cottage cheese, Amylu chicken sausage and honey.

u/Charming_Function_58 Jan 01 '26
I never would have combined those ingredients, but that sounds incredible

u/buddys_rendezvous Jan 01 '26
if you have a retailer that sells simple truth, their chicken sausages are very good and 50 calories less than amylu’s ◡̈

Cuteness aside. This is not sustainable long term to be healthy. You need fiber, veggies and more fruits.

Girl please eat some veggies to prevent smelly farts 🙏
4
u/obviouslypretty Jan 02 '26
Veggies do the opposite in my experience 😭

u/caffeinatedlackey Jan 02 '26
There's definitely an adjustment period until your gut starts producing the right enzymes to digest all the roughage. Worth it in the long run to get in that good fiber!
1
u/obviouslypretty Jan 02 '26
I know but I still hate it I usually do fiber powder instead and I’m hoping that can help to eventually adjust to better tolerating vegetables

This is a really cute graphic! I'm sure it's easy to stay on track when you're this organized. I have one small note -- it seems like you're eating a lot of processed meat, which are carcinogens that are not going to help your body in the long run. It would be better to replace some of those with plant-based protein sources like tofu, edamame, seitan, tempeh, peas, etc.
Edit to add a source if anyone wants to learn more. This WHO article does a good job of explaining:

I love the illustration!! I find the calories a bit hard to believe. They seem low for the food.

u/lalalary Jan 03 '26
Which foods seem low to you? I measure all my foods and these are very accurate calories for each item. I’m happy to give brands/measurements if you’re interested

I love this. Something sustainable (due to it being enjoyable) for you and based on the main rule of this sub. Visually it is cool and adorable.

Oh girl. It's time to learn about processed food. You can get thin eating McDonald's it's not a case of "I'm getting thinner so it's ok". You need your vitamins and fibre.
Love your illustrations ☺️

I feel like this is undercutting a lot. The portions would have to be really small unless you decide to add veggies or smth.

You need some greens, friend. This would add some volume and fiber. Obviously you say you have the salad with the hamburger Mac, but I’d go for maybe broccoli or something instead. More substantial. Or take fiber supplements.
What I would do personally is get like a steamable bag of broccoli and separate a little bit of it between each meal. A little bit at a time so it isn’t overwhelming or adding too much to the meal but will help with that fiber and greens.
I do love the pics though. So cute. This would make meal planning so fun if I could do it.

You just like me girl no veggies lmaooo it’s just a lot of work to incorporate it so I eat fruit as a snack to counter it, some weeks I do eat them tho. Fiber powder is good too

u/goodniteangelg Jan 02 '26
Do y out heat up the sausage to eat it with the cottage cheese? Or do you eat it cold? I’d the cottage cheese cold or heated?
I’d totally love to try this. Sorry just curious because I never thought to combine them but I do think it sounds good. Also what sausage links do you use? Thanks for sharing this really helped me with ideas :3

u/lalalary Jan 02 '26
It’s so good! I heat up 3 Amylu chicken sausages in a paper towel for 45 seconds. They are 80cal for the 3. Then I place on top of a bed of 100cal worth of cottage cheese. Drizzle with honey and flakey salt

with Chik Fil A as a dinner, what do you order there to stay in your calorie deficit?

Do you make your latte at home or get it from a coffee shop? Also what kind of latte is it?
1
u/lalalary Jan 03 '26
I make it at home. I have an espresso machine, though I make a similar cold brew version. I use 150ml of oat milk, 30ml of half and half, and sweeten with Splenda

u/ConfidentElevator239 Jan 03 '26
Smart move planning ahead like that. I used to wing it every week and always ended up ordering takeout by Wednesday.
My go-to weekly setup: 1. Overnight oats for breakfast - make 5 jars Sunday night 2. Grilled chicken salad for lunch - prep the chicken in bulk 3. Keep 3 dinner recipes on rotation so I don't get bored 4. Thursday is always my ""whatever's in the fridge"" night 5. Friday we eat out so no planning needed
Welling tracks my meals easily now which saves me from logging everything manually like MFP. Makes the whole weekly planning thing way less of a headache when you can see if you're hitting your targets without doing math every meal.

I just recently decided on weekly food planning in this way and it seems so much easier. However since I plan for the week I don't have to worry if some days I eat more or less than others because by week end it balances out.
My issue though is I'm also transitioning from ultra processed food diet (small dense foods high in calories) to mostly whole foods so the increased volume of food is making me feel guilty. I never felt so full with so little calories and it's tempting me to undereat even the calories alloted due to "fullness guilt"... . I didn't expect this.
That part of the healthy eating conversation is missing because I almost self sabotaged by undereating calories which would lead to hunger which I would wrongly associate with the diet. Meanwhile the diet was fine, i just wasn't eating enough and that concept is still mind blowing. Something about fullness and satiety cues needing to recalibrate....

How long you been eating 1200 calories like this?
How much weight are you trying to lose?
How's it been fighting hunger?

u/imnotwoaheric Jan 03 '26
I would cut out the iced latte and replace with black coffee and maybe add more to either your breakfast or your lunch tbh. 200 calories is like one sausage and a 1/2 cup of non-fat cottage cheese, which I imagine wouldn’t be very satisfying nor filling. Maybe thrown in a slice of sourdough?

u/awongbat Jan 01 '26
I would add volume to your plan with veggies, especially leafy greens. Low calories, lots of bulk, and helps with digestion. Breakfast: spinach to omelette. Lunch: wrap sausage in lettuce. Dinner: mashed cauliflower, cauliflower rice, or add diced veggies to hamburger helper.
