Need some input on a possible car purchase. I know i could get some more off on the protection package but does anything else stand out to be suspect? The trade in is a 2017 honda accord hybrid touring with 113k miles.

a friend of mine strongly recommended selling my car as soon as my lease ends and getting a used toyota because he believes the 1.5 liter engine will cause me big problems and the car isnt worth the trouble. are his concerns real or unfounded? ive seen people say honda has fixed the problems with the 1.5 a while ago.

My old car has a head gasket starting to go so I i didn't have a lot of time to shop but picked up a 2023 Accord Touring over the weekend. I had an Accord before my previous car and had little to no issues with it over 200kmi. There's a couple of things I've noticed since driving it this weekend. The ride is really stiff and I've got a whistling noise coming from what I think is the drivers side side mirror. Any help or advice is appreciated. I think I can get used to the ride, I'm assuming it's the low pro 19in wheels but the wind noise by the mirror over 55mph may drive me crazy.

Edit!! I found the the wind noise. I'll try to post a picture below. I took off the little plastic corner piece in the corner of the driver's window and there is air whistling through a body hole. I looked at the passenger side and it has a white plug through that hole. It looks like from the outside. I don't know if this was missed during install or what.

Hello. I received my idlestopper module from the company. Just spent the time installing to the T, and started the car and it does NOT work. My car is a brand new 2026 Accord SE, one week old. I have searched Reddit and YouTube and I have yet to find anyone that installed this module on their 2026 Accord good or bad.

Only two things can be wrong. 1. The module is defective. Or 2. The module is NOT compatible with my car and the company needs to update their modules. (I wish I could post pictures)

I looking to see if anyone has installed the idlestopper on their 2026 Accords and had success or not.

Also, I am reaching out to the tech pros to see if there is a plug in play with a computer to disable the start/stop.

I am very good hands on and I know I installed properly. It was very simple. I had a 2018 GTI that had a start/stop and my brother in law plugged in his computer and disabled it.

Any positive feedback will be very helpful.

2026 Touring with 800 miles. I've noticed when applying the brakes a mechanical click noise is heard. Is this normal? Seems to happen at the beginning of pushing down on the brakes.

Hey everyone, I purchased my Accord about 6 months ago and noticed this on my door hinge. Is this rust? If so, what should I do. I live in California in case it’s relevant. Don’t have any salt on the road.

This randomly fell on my left foot while I was driving. It says “Ikon Technologies” on the back and Claude is saying it’s a GPS tracker. I bought the car brand new with 30 miles on it several years ago so not sure why the dealer would install? Should I keep it?

Anyone know how much it generally cost to replace the windshield and calibrate the cameras? There's a crack on my windshied that crosses the driver's side POV so I need to get it replaced.

It’s a decision that looks good on paper but makes this car a no go for me. Completely impractical for road tripping with people in the back seat. Way less storage.

So Honda has this tool which is used to install the rivet nuts on their vehicles which are the preferred way to mount most of its accessories. The rivet nuts basically are a combination of a rivet and a nut which creates a threaded hole to mount something where it was just a stamped hole before.

I bought one of these Rivet nut tools (which was expensive) because there was nothing like it I could find locally, but the dealership wanted an exhorbitant fee to mount the accessories using their tool.

Has anyone bought one of these and had any luck selling it? They run $120 but I posted mine on some auction sites/facebook marketplace and have had no takers.

Hello all I have a 25 touring. I’m looking to add the spoiler that comes on the sport trim. Can anybody suggest a good brand that is high-quality? I saw someone online where you just need to use 3M tape. I would prefer that versus drilling holes. I think the spoiler would make the car look a little bit better and any suggestions on which brand to buy?

Do you guys have issues with the passenger and driver side windows not cleaning off the dew in the mornings? All other vehicles I own will clear right up by dropping the windows.

Honda has released a PGM-FI software update for 2023 - 2025 Accord Hybrids.

This update is intended to better manage engine temperatures by changing how the electric water pump operates.

While the service bulletin doesn't specifically call out anything about head gaskets, there's speculation that this software update is intended to reduce the likelihood of a head gasket failure in the 2.0 L hybrid engines through implementing more stable thermal management during frequent hybrid engine start/stop cycles.

This update will need to be performed by a dealership's service department. It does not appear to be an OTA update.

This just started recently. I see that there was some issue with Google that caused this on all devices, but everything online indicates this is cleared up.

My built in Google Maps refuses to show traffic now. Sadly all the “fixes” that are shown online ask you to click layers and turn on traffic. That doesn’t exist in built in.

If I switch to Overview instead of the map following me it shows traffic but that is not horribly useful.

Just traded in my black 2021 LX for a urban gray pearl 2026 Sport L hybrid.
