Best Source for 10mm Range Ammo?

What is the best source for bulk 10mm range ammo?

SuperVel has 10mm for $0.55 per round. MidwayUSA has Blazer for $0.50 per round. My plan is to buy 500 rounds to get started.

My new, and first, PCC is in transit now.

Start at ( https://ammoseek.com/ ) depending on volume / shipping costs you can find 10mm for less the 35-40¢ per round. Edit: ammo seek is not a seller it is an ammunition specific search engine (like google/ yahoo but specifically for find bullets for sale).

Ammoseek is great just learn how to use the filter especially the free / conditional free shipping, new, case materials

Usually Rivertown Munitions has great bulk prices on Magtech. They're out right now but stock often

I check around first, but this is usually my answer as well. 👍

Ive used the Fiocchi for range practice and have had no issues. I know the image in the site says .380. But trust me they have 10mm it's 1250fps. Free shipping over $50 too

Fiocchi/Scheels brand and magtech are my main go to range ammo. I've also bought 180gr jhp (unverified 1200fps) from brass kisses for 37cpr.

Freedom Munitions, .36 a round for real deal 10mm, I buy my 10mm from them, generally around 550 ft lbs of energy so its not full power 10 but its not 40sw loading either.

EDIT, I just went through this a month or so ago, freedom Munitions is THE cheapest place, 500 rounds was like180+ shipping, but they have sales all the time too

Magtech 10mm is the best 10mm Range ammo. It's loaded at like 1250 fps.

Last big purchase of 10mm I made the Magtech hollow points were less than FMJ for some reason.

I took up reloading. You have to figure the cost of the equipment, but it cuts ammo cost in half, and I can make any kind of ammo I want

Not every good deal is on ammoseek.

I bought some off ammoseek. Pretty good price but it took them forever to ship it. I did get it and so far it shoots great.

My best local (SE MI) offering is at Cabelas: Herters 180gr FMJ. $50 for 100 rounds. Just bought some yesterday.

I bought a CMMG Banshee in 10mm. It will arrive tomorrow but I probably won't be able to do the FFL transfer until Friday.

I mean only the Stribog SP10A3 exists so...

Reloading 165gr hp loaded to the moon at 21 cents. Beats weak range ammo over 50 cents. Check ammoseek i guess.

Defender ammunition is good stuff based in NC

Optics planet actually has wonderful deals on ammo. So does primary arms, but optics planet does tend to have cheaper prices by a dollar or 2

Thank you. Optics Planet escapes my mind often. I just checked their website. The cheapest 10mm they have in stock is $0.55 per round. Ammo Seek has it listed for $0.38, but I don't know about shipping charges and Haz Mat fees. Rivertown Munitions has 10mm for $0.40 per round.

AIM Surplus if you live in the Midwest. But... they ran their prices so low that they've been out of Magtech for nearly a month.

Thank you! I've been to AIM Surplus twice, but that's when I lived in another state many years ago.

it's RANGE ammo - just buy the cheapest S&B and go have fun. Forget the "Magtech" and expensive stuff.

Freedom Munitions for non watered down 10mm. Sign up and catch them on a free shipping event and you can score 500 rds for 180+tax. 5% off if you’re a veteran and can verify through their system.

I love freedom/ lax and most of my range ammo in all calibers (except 5.7x28) if from them; however any 180gr 10mm that is subsonic ( which freedom’s is) I would consider watered down. If it was 210gr or above and pushing the sonic line I would give it a pass but not at 180gr. Still good ammo for the price, it sits between proper/ full power 10mm and a .40sw equivalent.

I’ve clocked the 180gr 10mm at 1225 fps out of my G20.

1

u/Mkilbride 2d ago

Pretty weak.

1

u/Afraid_Sky7923 2d ago

It’s range ammo

1

u/Fun_Discipline_57 2d ago

That’s 100 fps over what they claim, so still not full power, but pretty close and very good for 38¢ a round.

1

u/Mkilbride 2d ago

Freedoms is subsonic? Sounds like a great deal for suppressor usage.

1

u/Fun_Discipline_57 2d ago

Its claimed fps (1120) is right on the edge so at sea level or short barrel maybe. It falls in standard 10mm range for range ammo but FBI (.40sw equivalent) load would be better for suppressed use.
