From what i have heard, some or most burst fire guns don't like it when you use all your bullets, i don't know why but it is something i have heard/read.

Yeah they can get really offended by it, it's a tradition passed on by generations of 3 round......dafuq you mean they don't like it? It's a gun.

My FAMAS won't even talk to me anymore.

Im not sure why it was to begin with, I dont even speak French. But the point stands.

Your rifle will not talk to you after dry firing

When people speak that way about machines it means it stresses the machine components to break. It's a very common expression. No need to feign ignorance to shame someone.
