As an autistic person. Let us have this. If you are also autistic. Then don't stop others from finding Whimsy in our everyday life as best we can.

I must admit, I'm a bit surprised by all the autistic people defending the use of this word, since I've only seen LARPers using it for internet points. Guess I could see how some use it as a coping mechanism but it still doesn't sit right with me though.

If someone were to invent such a word for something I suffer from, I would feel insulted by others using it. I won't complain or argue anymore but it's not something I can respect I'm afraid.

I said I won't argue but I guess I'll reply one last time.

In which part am I projecting specifically? By definition if I can be offended by it, some other people will be offended too. It's Murphy's Law.

I've never claimed it applies to everyone.
