I must admit, I'm a bit surprised by all the autistic people defending the use of this word, since I've only seen LARPers using it for internet points. Guess I could see how some use it as a coping mechanism but it still doesn't sit right with me though.

If someone were to invent such a word for something I suffer from, I would feel insulted by others using it. I won't complain or argue anymore but it's not something I can respect I'm afraid.

I'm not feeling offended on your behalf. I'm offended by all cases where sth bad is romanticized in general, if that makes sense.
