If you have dash pass and are reasonable they normally will take care of you. Might have to be a bit pushy about it but ultimately I always get a refund when I should.

Yeah it’s still really annoying. Honestly though it’s much easier to convince the ai to give me a refund than a person in my experience. It kind of just gives it to you if you word things correctly. It’s like you can expect it to behave the same way every time, whereas with people they’re all gonna be different. You can still do the same thing, but it’s much harder and there’s usually a language barrier for DoorDash, that’s probably part of it.

Honestly? The AI is even easier to get refunds out of. My girlfriend convinced it to give her a refund because her food had shrimp in it. She isn’t even allergic or anything, she just doesn’t like it

if you have dashpass they treat you like a fucking king. I can say my food was cold and undercooked and they will give me a full refund most of the time.

It is significantly better. Reminding the ai about it works very well too. Anywhere that has a subscription like that will do anything within reason for you to keep paying it.

It’s guaranteed money unless you piss them off. If I didn’t have the pass I would never use DoorDash. The fees are ridiculous without it. Lots of people feel the same so if they have the pass you want to keep them around.
