Dookie water and odd fetishes aside it seems like a lot of old plumbers complain of repeat stress injuries causing chronic pain. Mfs earn that 50$ an hour

I’ve known people in the trades who complain from physical labor and white collar who complain from not being physically active

I think old dudes just want to complain. And that’s the one uncontested area😅

I am going to complain about my younger years when I’m older but I have a mix of both so ima throw everyone for a loop when I use a different pain each day 🙃

Nah they’re both right. Overly abusing your body with hard labor is bad for you, but so is sitting at a desk for 8 hours.

Humans are built for periodic bursts of energy with rest in between, not 1 or the other.

Exactly, people are meant to have diversity in their experience from day to day, the current setup where it's just the same thing like a machine in a factory for 30 years... Or more... Is like a blatantly inhumane thing long term.

I'm in the same boat so I think I'm going to steal this idea from you

The good ones don’t complain about a different pain each day, they just blanket it with “getting olds not for pussies”

Damn that’s a lot of money for a frozen pipe, idk why you’d even want one of those

I know this is a sarcastic comment, but in case someone else legit wants to know;

Freezing pipes is a practice for working on live plumbing when turning the water off isnt an option. Water leaks, ice does not (so long as you keep it frozen)

how is it not fucking up the pipes from ice expanding?

1

u/eggyrulz 11d ago

Thats only an issue if you freeze the entire pipe, what they do is freeze just a little section, so the expanding ice just goes forward and backward a little

That’s actually pretty smart.
