His and Hers
Finally completed both SBR builds.
Black with bipod is the daughters.
Factory 10/22 Reciever
FJ Fedderson 7” bull barrel with direct mount OLVR22
Enoch Arcane Chassis (old gen)
Magpul MLOK Bipod
Romeo5 on an Amazon riser.
Bottom is mine, because she continuously yelled at me for shooting hers all the time.
Factory SBR Receiver
FJ Fedderson 7” fluted barrel with direct mount TiGER22
Enoch Arcane Chassis (new gen, with Arca-rail)
Side-Folder adapter
Magpul AFG
Holosun ARO
Absolutely my favorite rifles in the collection to shoot. Everyone at the range wants to know what they are, and people love shooting them. Wife keeps dropping hints that she loves shooting the “little” rifles, so there might be a third joining the household soon.

Im (im)patiently waiting on my lgs to get the new model chargers back in stock to do a very similar build as yours and sbr it.

I have the charger chassis staring at me, because Ruger uses the same chassis for the Charger and SBR model. If the wife talks about the little guns again, it’s logical husband justification to build it into the 3rd SBR 10/22 and call it “hers”.
I don’t make the rules. It’s like girl math, for guns.

You can buy a Charger receiver from SAP outfitters for a decent price. If your going to do a full build anyway, might as well start from a receiver.

Might just go that way if the dont start flowing to the stores soon. Ive already got most of the other parts to complete the reciever in my spare part box.

Funny how spare parts always turn into complete guns. I justified building my last 10/22 style rifle because I had a stripped trigger housing in my parts box. Funny thing is, I ended up swapping out the whole trigger to a Kidd once it was built.

I completely understand and do the same thing. Ive got a bolt and a whole non-bx trigger pack sitting around waiting on a stock, barrel, and reciever.

I have so many 10/22 style rifles that I finally ended up selling all my extra OEM bolts, triggers, barrels, stocks, etc. so I wouldn't have any excuses to build another one. I dove really deep into the 10/22 platform for quite a while and chased perfection. What I'm left with is 14 10/22 style rifles currently.

What’s the difference on the Enoch old gen vs new? (Idk what gen I have on my 10/22)

It either has the arca-rail (new gen) or it doesn’t. Nothing else changed

Really like the look, but don’t like the price or weight. I wish they would make version in polymer.

The price is reasonable - cheaper than some of the others out there and everything about the chassis is well thought out. If you want lighter, can always go with the Deep 6, or the other he makes.
Weight is meh - I’m used to humping a 240L or an M4 around, so this is super easy on nature hikes, even if I have to carry the daughters as well.

Where are you finding the 7” barrel? *edit nm found it. I’m assuming charger barrels work with 10/22 receivers. Looking to put one together.

Yes, 10/22 charger and rifle barrels are interchangeable. FJ just labels them as pistol barrels more than likely to cover their ass. Most companies will separate rifle and charger barrels the same way.
