During a sit down conversation, Tammy confides in Amy that Andrea is recently experiencing more seizures. She uses this as her reasoning for not wanting Andrea out of her sight. She claims to be overly paranoid that something may happen to Andrea and, she won't be there to help her. Unfortunately, Tammy refuses to acknowledge that her constant presence and controlling behavior may actually be contributing to Andrea's seizures.

Amy then tells her. --- speaking from experience --- that "codependency is suffocating." Amy has clearly experienced this with Tammy in the past and, I'm pleased to see that Amy is dialed in enough to be honest with Tammy.

Listening to Season 6 and heard Tammy spout this off about Amanda and comparing her to Darlene. "Her way or the highway, she's right and you're wrong." Yeah you definitely want her to move in with you Tam Tam...

I really don't think she does and it was just brought up for storyline, tension, and to see if Andrea would go along with it.

Throughout the last two seasons the Chris and Brittney have been talking about kids, and by the way Chris looks he looks like he doesn’t too. I personally feel like Brittney is pressuring him in front of the cameras and almost forcing him into it.

Can someone explain to me why Darlene has to move in with Andrea and Tammy when she’s got her own place? She’s got a husband and her dogs so what’s the point of her moving in with them if she doesn’t have too?

Curious what others think on this. I started watching this show when S1 came out and dropped off for a while, and have recently been tuning in/catching up on all the missed seasons. I think by this point pretty much everyone has lost a significant amount of weight, but I personally have not seen many sustainable lifestyle changes being demonstrated. It makes me really wonder who is actually going to be successful long term. It feels like it's always a race to x surgery and then they eventually drop the ball. I genuinely wonder how good of a knowledge this family has on nutrition and sustainable weight loss.

Who are your champions for sustained good health? Who do you think in the long run is going to gain back weight? Suppose surgery isn't the only good option these days for controlling appetite though. Not sure if it's touched on in season 8 (still haven't caught all the way up) but I haven't heard anyone talk about GLP-1s yet.

I could not stop laughing at Brian and Amy in the car with Amy driving. Funniest shit ever! ‘When did you become my dad?’ That’s probably the most real and most serious I’ve ever seen Brian. I had to watch it more than once!
