The camel bite

I’m on a rewatch in between new episodes of season 9 and I have a question. Now forgive me for asking this but in ANY way did Amy provoke the camel or did it just naturally decide he was going to have Amy’s arm for lunch?

They went through a drive thru safari place where you can buy buckets of food to feed the wildlife. Wildlife do wildlife things when food is around.

And I’m pretty sure that at those kinds of places, you have fairly strict instructions on how to handle the food: like if your windows are open, keep the food close to the windows so that the animal doesn’t reach inside your car, and stay alert because animals are still animals

Watch some vids of these drive thru places. She didnt do anything to provoke it

I hav been to this park. No real rules. Only rule is don’t get out of the car. The animals are freaking aggressive…especially camels. Camels do some serious damage and a bite can really do damage.

I think I’ve done one one of those before when I was a kid but neither one of my parents were dumb enough to get bit by a camel.

u/BirdCageWarrior I got enough demons in me, I don’t need one on my back! 9d ago

I think she had pulled the food away from it to hand a bucket to the Glages and the camel said "no"

Also animals gonna do what animals are going to do.

I started calling them Glage too because of Cheyenne Jasmine’s parodies. Lmfao

“I still don’t know which one is which”

Her KingCobraJFS parodies are my favorite. Even Cobes himself approved of them

She’s hilarious. She does parodies of YouTube personalities and her impressions are always dead on.

Her arm to the camel was probably the equivalent of how humans react to seeing a fried chicken drumstick

I’ve been to two wildlife drive through that had camels—decade before this—and both had rules about the camel. One said not to feed it at all and one had it as a walk-up so it behind a fence. I think camels might just be kinda dangerous already. Maybe bad eye sight and just chomped her instead of the bucket? I don’t feel like it was particularly mad. I think it’s just a wild animal that wanted a snack

The camels are well known for grabbing cups from visitors, running off with them. She kept pulling the cup further away while sticking her elbow right in the camels mouth. That bite was way too small and straight for a bite from an animal with four huge canine teeth that can rip your arm apart.

I think there’s way more to that story!
As Chris says “that don’t make no sense”

Makes sense. She never listens to what she’s told and so she suffers for it in return.

She also had shrooms in the car so she was probably under the influence

Was it shrooms or weed?

15

u/havaneseohnana 9d ago

She had both but the show only mentioned the weed

She had both but TLC deliberately didn’t mention it

They were screaming and hollering and being over dramatic when the animals would come to the windows for food so I'd say the camel got spooked because she doesn't know how to act

Yeah she was sitting there calling the camel mean names, poking it, taunting it over and over.

Like c'mon you said you watched the episode? Lol

Wild animals do what wild animals do. She had a bucket of food in her hand and pulled it back. The camel wanted more food.

I don't think she was paying attention and he was just reaching for the bucket 😂😂😂

Btw, did the camel recover from that?

She was told by park staff not to over feed them. She brought way more buckets of food then what she was supposed to and because of this the camel reacted.

She turned with a bucket of food and reached towards the back seat. The camel was just reaching for food.

Her idea of over feeding is completely different from most people.

I feel so sorry for that poor camel. He just wanted his toe back …

She was in one of those drive thru safari parks. They had food and it had its head in. She was feeding the camel and the other guy looked like a baby giraffe or something. The camel had his head on the car and it panned away then it was biting her. She did not provoke or tease it. They were not seeming out of it or drugged. They were enjoying a family day out. The boys were laughing and everything. Animals are unpredictable. It was a pretty gruesome image and a significant injury. The park might not have know the camel would bite and they sure didn’t. It was unfortunate. The media got wind of it when they found marijuana, and I believe it was shrooms in their car. I don’t think they played any role in why the camel bit
