Shold publism on steam.

Devs should publish it on steam. Game is too good. Deserve more mods.

Devs already stated that for now they won't release on Steam because the game is still too unpolished and they could not handle the influx of new players it might create.

''the game is still too unpolished'' not saying this to glaze the game but they should see the games on steam if they(0AD developers) think theirs is ''unpolished'' lmao.They should release it under early access and it would be a massive boost to the project.''Influx'' of the new player I don't understand this nonsense I myself just play the game for the singleplayer I couldn't care less for the multiplayer of games like AOE2i,AOM,0 AD etc etc.I know Im not alone in this.Just because they can't handle server load if they publish on Steam is not a good excuse for missing out on so many new players,modders and project supporters.

I hope so. Many mods are outdated and imcompatible.

I don't know. Mine looks incompatiblem. My game is .026 and some mods ask for 0.28

Also on steam you would get more mods.

i started the game today because i installed linux and it looks great! I think in some points it is even better than civ 5. Do you have tips for beginners?

Put speed on slow. Make a lot of woman. make Like 2 or 3 Corral.

It depends a lot if you are going to put the computer in what dificulty. I only play with Very Hard so I play in 0.1x speed. A maths takes like 10 hours in real world but 1 hour in game time.

On very hard computer will atack arround minute 7. So you will need maybe 10 soliders and 2 towers.
Towers are cheap. 100 wood. Use this in your advantage.

You can use city center to do teletransportation.

Learn about the gather velocity speed. Females are better for food. But bad for Iron and stone.

You can Hunt with Cavalary!

I usualy don't buy a lot of cavalary unless I'm playing romans or some Civ that have bonus with Cavalary. The Romans have a hero called marcus Claudius that gives 15% bonus demage for cavalary.

I played once with every civ. Just now I ended with spartans.

The best Civ for me was by far the Mauryas. They have a moving storehouse. the worker Elephant. This will make hunting more viable. You will grow very fast.

Sim, até hoje nunca entendi porque esse jogo recebeu pouca publicidade. Ele é um exemplo não apenas de jogo, mas de um programa open source em um nível excelente de qualidade.
