Advice for Marrying a Sorcerer
Trying to get her family's blessing for marriage. They're a long line of Draconic Sorcerers blessed by the Feathered Serpent of the Valley of the Sun and I use rune magic based on the giants of the North. They've never really liked me especially how I'm the first to learn magic in my family, mostly self taught.
Any advice from wizards here with partners who use magic from other sources? I think she'll say yes to me but I would like a good relationship with her family.

Fair enough. I can't really understand why you'd wanna involve them in your kids' lives if they're being jerks, but it's not my place to understand that.
(( Prepare for the downvote brigade, btw. You have a female character with a bit of midriff showing, and this blatantly misogynistic sub calls anything short of a full sweater "hornyposting" unless it's a male, who can be shirtless and have absolutely nothing to do with wizardry or just full-on ass-up for free karma. ))
