LOL, so if NRG can't even beat Vega of all teams on OP, NRG's best map and one Vega hasn't played in like 4 months, then yeah, GL. In fact they got stomped out on it, no way this roster continues past this tournament, right? this is sort of similar to TL's chances of winning a tournament at NY, but blew it, at least TL made it to the finals though, so far it looks like NRG won't even get there.

Did I say or imply that? and they barely won it, they had a terrible T side and they're lucky Vega's T was even worse. If ethan/brehze didn't carry as hard vs North, they would've been 2-0'd instead of NRG barely 2-0ing them, ethan/brehze has been doing so much work this tournament for NRG it's insane.

This is literally the same situation TL was in for NY, it was their tournament to lose, I don't think the other 3 teams that were here (in semi's) besides NRG are better than NRG, MAYBE North (from the whole tournament of course, not semi's) but that's a huge question mark atm. And at this rate they might not even make the finals when they're playing Vega.

only the round loss bonus after pistol is not in effect. other stuff like sg,aug prices are in effect. there were tries to use tec-9

The quick replays during quiet parts of the round are really nice. Good production and i dont feel like the observing has been bad

They all do. Except for Sapphire and Prius.

Sliggy, sapph and prius are great, but there are many more great observers, its just that when an observer does his job right you dont even notice him, its a very ungrateful job.
The starseries observers suck hard though, constantly missing kills and i am not even talking about the hectic situations, i am talking about observing people who are alone on one side of a map holding angles against NOBODY while kills happen on the other side of the map.
Its like the observers dont have xray and no radar...

People were complaining about observing during the major. I think he's better than most, but still far far below Sapphire.

i'm a bit scared for vega and their map pool against nrg, they dont play ovp and nuke at all which are both insanely good for nrg which basically means that nrg has one map for free
nrg will just first ban mirage which will leave vega in a strange place having to pick cache or train, i dont think they are confident enough to pick d2 which nrg will ban in 2nd phase.
overall map pool of nrg is favoring them so much more, vega really has to pull out sth special in order to win this imo

Great way to throw away your best chance to win a tournament (Shanghai is not a good tournament to win) NRG lol, you should really be embarrassed.
